I admired how Jess and Casey hacked into the Internet to delete that insulting video. This shows that they genuinely consider her a true friend, and not a "loser" to make themselves look better.

Cassie and Jess literally being the best characters in the movie. If it would have focused on them more, it would have been amazing. It's really eye opening how they are those who Bianca shut down from her life, because she thought they were taking advantage of her, but they were the only ones who supported her for the entire time, never belittling her and always being willing to stay with her because of who she really is. The only characters in the movie who were always supporting and caring without compromises.

The movie is so different from the book. For starters, Bella Thorne's character doesn't exist, Bianca lives with her alcoholic dad, who accidentally hits her with a beer bottle during a fight with Wesley, Toby was a gentleman who wasn't using Bianca to get to her friends, and Bianca and Wesley sleep together a lot, whereas they just kiss in the movie. I like them both, in different ways.

I relate so much to the character Bianca. We are a group of 3 and my other two friends are famous and known for their beauty and style. But I am the unknown one. But honestly we never developed ant kind of jealousy between us my friends always help me with my self confidence and always try to make myself better. Glad to have them. And I always have this in mind that I don't need to stand in the crowd to be visible, I will be visible to the eyes of the person who really wants to know the inner me.

12:50 The "man in his forties" sweater guy is about as obviously a 32 year old actor dressed up as a stereotypical middle aged man as Bianca is a 28 year old actress (Her?) dressed up as a high school kid. Indeed if you said he was younger than her who wouldn't believe you? "Hollywood age casting" of young characters is common enough, but one thing Hollywood doesn't lack for is aging actors who haven't given up; so it seems strange they had to resort to casting someone who looks ridiculously young, especially in a scene where he has to be put so closely opposite an actress who really stretched credibility with how young she was being cast. (It's like the director half secretly wanted the character to be a handsome hipster instead of what was written or something.) The juxtaposition of casting old with the far more common casting young can look jarring. (Only in rare cases, like Karate Kid Part 3 with Daniel-san and Terry Silver, can it work.) I don't know; I used to be an actor (relegated to this kind of small parts quite often) so I notice these things a lot!
