Just goes to show how much work goes into these patios especially with the added drainage and cutting. Its outdoor tiling with 20mm tiles not easy all done by a handsome fella 🤣🤣🤣 Good luck to you all. Justin brickright 👍

In one of your next videos could you demonstrate exactly how you do your mix? I’m pretty new in landscaping but I remember in one of your videos you was mentioning how much water you use and I find I can’t help but use so much to finally get it to a nice mix

Great work as always. How come you’ve gone back to a semi dry mix johny is there pros or cons to a brick laying consistency to a dry mix?

Thanks Lee mate, the thing is its just time easier to mix up amd as long as its moist its actually better.

Great video thanks for uploading. Quick question for you if I may please? I have to lay concrete slabs for a path on an existing stable concrete base. What's the best method in order to keep the finished level as low as possible?

Cheers Mate, well you can come up to one below damp in domestic situations and 5 - 1 but SBR the concrete so it adheres

Lovely cuts with the Tc125. What blade are you using on it. I’ve got a tc180 and cutting 20mm porcelain and need a better finish. Thanks

Dear Johnny. Thank you for all your videos. You've given me the confidence to do it myself. Grateful for some advice. I'm doing my patio which is 3.5x4.5m or 16m2. I'm planning on using porcelain tiles. 1. Would you advise 10mm tiles if the area is in the back garden, and only to be used for family gathering. Ps we arent a heavy set family..haha 2. I was planning on a 100mm MOT type 1 base. How many jumbo bags (each 900kg) do you think I'd need? 3. Finally, the patio is going to be surrounded by fence gravel boards on either side (30cm offset), and grass on the longer sides. Am I okay to not use any cement border? If not what would you recommend?

Great and informative videos. I've just laid 28m2 limestone paving on my patio. What do you recommend as treatment or protection as some recommendations I've come across includes using a stone oil? Thanks

Been watching your videos to get tips on my back garden, I've layed 20mm porcelain, whats the best product to get tough stains/marks/grout out of it?

Use porcelain cleaner or you could use warm water and a mop that would do the job

A few other things Azpects do a good cleaner but you can use acidtone but you got to be very carefull

Hi Johny I've been laying quite a bit if porcelain but i floor screed the base then lay them on an 8mm bed of whisked cement sbr and feb to keep it flexible .it works great .but now im thinkinking why does the porcelain have to b 20 mm thick do you think i could use 10 or 12mm using the same process .

You can use 10mm out side as long as it sticks down but on concrete be much better.

You could cut 100mm off the 90 bend which would allow you to gain a fall then mastick it to your acos problem solved .

@@GreentopLandscapes you can also buy an inline outlet adapter for that particular channel drain. I've just had to do it myself as i had the same problem. The pipe i was connecting into was only 150mm below your feet. I used the 110mm inline outlet and used a black elbow then back to terracotta pipe once under ground. Hopefully that made sense 👍
