Lesson lesson always read the label of the can/bottle before pouring on your pancakes. LOL otherwise you’ll end up in a sticky situation

Larry: I just love ketchup on my hotcakes. Moe: I'm sure it's delicious, but for me, I like the good old fashioned syrup it's a little sweeter. Me: Me too Moe. 😋 As long it's NOT glue! 😂

The one big irony regarding this gag is that mistaking an inedible item for food or drink is what indirectly set Larry on the life path that led to his becoming a Stooge. Those not in the know need only look up Larry's bio to learn how a near-tragedy indirectly led to a legendary career in comedy.

The glue that Moe used on his pancakes should be used at IHOP for people eating pancakes there every morning. Somehow, it was funny when Moe put glue on his pancakes when Curly and Shemp were featured in separate breakfast episodes. This made me laugh so much!!

Since canned foods tend to last longer than foods kept in jars, and it was probably easier to ship cans of maple syrup instead of bottles (less risk of breakage) putting maple syrup in cans made sense. A quick net search revealed "Maragos Pure Maple Syrup Can" and "Decacer Pure Maple Syrup Can" reveals that canned maple syrup is still available today.
