Amazing and truly beautiful! Many thanks to the creator of this improved model for sharing his ideas. However, I have trouble downloading this file on bricklink and can't see detailed manual. Please let me know if there's any other way of accessing these details. Thanks in advance.
@Porlockvv4 жыл бұрын
Hi, there isn't a detailed manual. It just takes too much time to create one. You have to use Stud.io to see how it is build. The link on Bricklink is the program which you have to download to be able to open the file. When opened you can use the Step list function by ticking Step view and start with Step 1. To look into a sub-model, right click on the sub-model and click view. Now just go through all steps. It takes some time to get accustomed to but after a while it will make sense. Good luck and thank you for your nice review!

Is it possible to only use Buwizz in the construction and no Sbrick? If yes how many Buwizz will I need?
@Porlockvv5 ай бұрын
Hi, yes that is possible. I used one Sbrick for the functions and one Sbrick for the lights so if you want to use a Buwizz than lights are not available separate. You than need one Buwizz for the bottom part (drive, steering) and one Buwizz for the top part. And they have to be the old Buwizzes, not the new ones. Good luck!
@user-qw9fm6uk6t5 ай бұрын
Thanks. With SBrick having gone out of business I can’t seem to find any. I also assume a 3rd BuWizz could do the lights? I have found a few cheap BuWizz on Marketplace and eBay

Good afternoon Remo, looking for my next project and as I haven't used either Buwizz or SBricks yet, this looks like it might be a great one to start with! Huge respect on the creation of the artifacts and the design thought that must have gone into creating this - as everyone has said below - just brilliant! One question if I may; lighting is not such a big issue for me so I may well ignore this this time round. Am I then right in my assumption that I'll only need a single SBrick (to control motors) and none of the Power Function extension cables, or will I need them for motors too (and how many!)? Many thanks! Gus
@Porlockvv3 жыл бұрын
Hi Angus, Thanks for your nice comments! If you don't need lights than you need just one (1) extension cable from the battery to the SBrick. There is no cable included with SBricks... Happy building!! If you like tracked racers stay tuned! I have one ready (somehow based on the Ripsaw, but different) and I hope to upload it in a couple of days!

Hi, it takes a lot of time to create a step by step manual and I have not found time to do this... What you can do is to install Stud.io, download the file and navigate through the model by ticking " Step view" on the right side of the screen. If you then select the first step you can see how it is build. If the step contains a submodel then you can open this submodel by right-clicking on the step and then select "View" and select the first step. After you are done with this submodel, Click "Return to main model" and proceed with step 2!

6:50 What are the three parts in the top right corner that are not from Lego? The big gray block with two holes and the two black and red "steps"?
@Porlockvv4 жыл бұрын
The grey block is a Buwizz battery with four connections for motor and or lights. The red and black steps are SBricks. They have to be connected to a battery and with each of them you can control 4 motors and or lights.

Hi, if you go to Rebrickable trough the link under the video than you can see the parts list of the model. On this site you can also add your own models and then you can easily see which parts you need to buy to complete this model except for the 2 SBricks and 1 Buwizz.
@keicher19072 жыл бұрын
Hello, why do you operate the body with Sbrick and not with Buwizz like the chassis.??
@Porlockvv2 жыл бұрын
At that time I had only one Buwizz. This setup also made it possible to use 2 SBricks on one standard Lego battery so that made on-off switching of the lights, separate to the top part also possible and in this way the moc looks the same as the original model.
@keicher19072 жыл бұрын
@@Porlockvv Thank you for your prompt reply. I will convert to full RC according to your blueprint. I will try to supply the motor separately with a motor as a fake motor so that it always runs. I plan to use a MouldKing battery for the chassis. This can now also be steplessly controlled. 4 ports. I also want to use an SBrick for the construction. I will supply it with a converted Lego battery box with a 11 volt Lipo battery. You have more power for the engines.

@@keicher1907 Nice! Where do you get the 11 volt lipo battery from? In my next model I want to use a SBrick connected to a simple 9v battery for the lights and a new Buwizz 3.0 or Powered up hub.

Scroll a little down and then click the green button: "Build this MOC". In here you can see all parts needed for the model except for the extension cables, Buwizz battery and the 2 SBricks. If you have the Rough terrain crane already then create an account on Rebrickable and add your crane (and other sets if you want) to your set lists so you can see which parts you are missing if you include you owned sets.

@@Enjeenier That's because the motors are not being made anymore by Lego. You could also use motors from CADA: decadastore.com/collections/electric The Buwizz is quite expensive as well as the SBricks, I know.
