I didn't even know Vanessa Bayer was gone. This is a cool sketch for her because it's one of the few where she's not the "straight woman". It's funny how many of the jokes seem to either fly over the heads of the audience or they either get them too late, like the spraining the wrist jerking off a horse. Of course Cecily is great. I can go on for hours about how versatile a player she is on that show.

These sketches were so filthy funny they were always aired during the last 5 minutes of the show, and were never included in the one-hour primetime repeats. It's a crime Vanessa and Cecily never won Emmy's for these performances.

The "Jerking off a horse --- now who's the horse?" joke breaks the comfort level of the audience and reveals the broken souls of these women. The astounding acting of both Strong and Bayer (who knew she had this level of pathos in her?) nail this darkly comic gem of a sketch.

I keep coming back to these... There so weird and random and underrated. The hidden gems. The ones they did after this were mostly okay but I think this one is still the best. Timberlake is actually impressive in it too. Maybe he should have taken up acting instead of bad music!
