Porpoise Spit - Promise - Live on Cook Up
Off the back of the release of their rousing debut album ‘Don’t Quit’, we managed to catch a session with the saintly Porpoise Spit, fittingly at the Brunswick Uniting Church.
Now, one wouldn’t usually expect religious institutions to pair that well with anthemic jangle-rock, but somehow this impassioned live rendition of ‘Promise’ has made the two feel like a match made in heaven.
cook up acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri people, on which this live session was filmed. We pay our respects to all Elders; past, present, and emerging.
