it's great seeing so many comments, thank you for your interest, if I may answer a couple of common points mentioned; the Porsche handbook recommends running in the engine which I am doing with the brief exceptions shown here in this video, although dealers say running in is not necessary. I didn't option bucket seats as my wife struggles with them, and accelerating hard on a damp road WITHOUT lighting up the rear tyres and bouncing off the rev limiter will take practice as engine torque is huge, Can I tempt you to subscribe ? link here :- kzfaq.info subscriber numbers, likes and comments keep me scrounging cars to film ! thanks for looking in - Cheers ! Great spec and color - would look at home here in SoCal. I've had the 981 Spyder for a few years and was sceptical about the 718 GT4 as the particulate filters seemed to really dull the sound. Your Spyder sounds much better for some reason. Pretty much the same performance as the 981 Spyder. Thanks Roger, a great way to start the day.

Thanks Roger for the review, appreciated. OMG the color alone, 4 liter 450 hp in 6 speed manual and looking better than the Speedster. The GT3 aero into a Spyder body is this the best looking car on the market with the performance to match, no kidding.

Quite a lot of cars, just do not match their colour. However... For this little beauty, the colour really makes it. It's a stunning motor RB with not the slightest hint of jealousy on my part. And great video editing too. You, Petrol Ped and Howard Ritchie should be doing TopGear together. The three of you would do an outstanding job. Roger, I have this exact car brother...just got it and am lovin it. Thought to myself, what would be the perfect car? “Well a normally aspirated GT3 engine with a manual gearbox and a convertible...” oh wait, it exists in the Speedster but I don’t have 300k so found out about the Spyder and couldn’t be happier with it. Great video. Preachin to the choir...
