Been testing our standard Porsche 991.2 GTS 0-60mph performance times
Porsche claim 3.7seconds but how quick is it in the real world

Love the intro! And launching at 6k revs is insane and clearly the car handles it very well. 6K launch in an M2 will just find its way in the bushes 🙄 great video bud 👍🏼

Thanks Will, something a little different. Lol Porsche launch control is one of the best systems out there. Your M2's probably quicker not using launch lol

I have a 2014 F-Type V8S 495hp. Probably could do under 4 with warm tires. I also had a C6 z06. In stock form (505hp) it could do mid 3s. Still nothing close to this though. The GTS is a beast....and hopefully my next car :)

Nice, the F-Types makes such a epic sound and looks very sleek. The C6 Z06 is a American favourite, shame we never see them here.

After watching countless 4wd launches which anyone's grandmother can do, it is nice to see some driver involvement and skill. Obviously traction limited more than anything else. I was thinking of getting rid of the P zeros on mine, as I have almost no traction on launch control in 1st. Thinking, predictably, PS4s. Thoughts?

Yes nice to see something a little different and shows the rwd GTS is just as quick if not quicker. The Pzeros were not that bad on track, did pretty well but they struggle in wet conditions. Everyone does love the PS4s but im personally a goodyear fan and Porsche do now use Goodyears on some of the 911s so worth looking into them

Damn that's insane! If those numbers are correct (3.3) than what's the real world numbers on my '22 GTS which Porsche claims are just that, 3.3 with more HP/torque....we'll see coming in May...cant wait!

Congrats on your new GTS, seen a few reviews in the 992 GTS and all brilliant feedback. I think it will be sub 3 or very close to 3 dead 0to 60 👌

Have remapped one of these yet, just picking my 19 plate carrera 4 gts up next week coming out of a 745le so should be night and day anyways. Just wondering what you can put the power upto ?

Yes tuned a few GTS and all make great numbers, was actually in the process of making a Vlog on tuning but ended up selling my GTS before completing. See around 520-530bhp stage 1 and around 540-560bhp stage 2. Compare 100-200kmh and wheel power numbers as some quote 600bhp stage 2 but slower 100-200kmh don't relate

Is it just me or at 6:09 the timer doesn't start when he launches the car but only a couple of tenths later... 🤔

It's the way the Draggy records on videos but it still measure the time taken to cover the distance set very accurately
