996 turbo doesn’t have engine issue (if you’re pointing to IMS). Only NA engines have it. (Carrara)

You can open the center console by pushing the lock down, you don't need the key, unless you're locking/unlocking it. The window motor/regulator looks broken on that car, it should go down at a constant speed. And updating the radio with the PCCM+ porsche classic unit instantly modernizes with carplay/android auto, bluetooth, etc. Highly recommend for any 996.

This is a decent review. I’m so bored of this chat: fried egg headlights, first water cooled 911, poor interior, most hated 911, IMS and rear seal both very likely to fail on the naturally aspirated engines etc”. The 996 is a fantastic model of 911 and I’ve always loved them!

I love the interior of mine. Black, cosy, solid, no problems. It doesn’t feel aged at all. I disagree totally with your review.

I don’t think the 996 turbo is hated I think nobody liked the headlights. It’s a classic now and it doesn’t have the IMS problem the non turbos have. I had a 996 turbo stick which I liked and now have a 997 turbo with Tiptronic which I Love!

this is a no glove box car ..circa 01 model..and sunroof delete is rare. Sure you warmed up the car before those revs... no wonder recent cars have a soft limiter.
