I’m lucky enough to own this now. Mega mega car. Attention to detail is ridiculous. It drives wonderfully. ( just stumbled over this video! )

Did you change the wheels...
@djverhulst5 жыл бұрын
can make video's of your 930 ??

this is not a restoration, it is a rebuild, great result!

A lime green,duck tailed,right hand drive,air cooled 911? Awesome.

it would be cool to see a quick 1 second picture at end of video, of people involved with build

Nice presentation. Would prefer dialog to music, however.

Great build and a Great looking car! Well done! What kind of flares are you using at the front? Are these from Rose Passion?

One word...brilliant!!!!

Nice build and I love the wheel/tire combo, but I have to ask---why backdate a 930? Seems unnecessary to take an already legendary car and backdate it when there are plenty of 3.2's and SC's out there, esp crashed ones, that can give you the same outcome. Just my two cents.
@powertoconquer6 жыл бұрын
Agreed, you do not modify, an original 930....
@chriscarbaugh39366 жыл бұрын
Why, because Turbos are bloody fast. Because the longhood looks better. And to build a good early NA engine w 300hp will cost you $20k ++. Because it’s what some of us do, modify. I know I have one of each and a 914-6. Values of 930s have fallen and if you have a non-stock high mileage car why not? In today’s market it’s worth only a bit more than a non-turbo, at least at the moment. I toyed w the idea of backdating my ‘85 Turbo. I have a ‘71 911. I will keep it a narrow body and build an engine, then no doubt sell the 930
@michaelhall13156 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you Eric.
@taforth6 жыл бұрын
It’s either a 911 turbo, OR a 930. A ‘930 turbo’ is like stating that it is a 911 turbo turbo 🤔.

Perfect restoration but this colour make it look like a cheap replica of porsche.

Of all the 911 RSR builds I've seen, this is certainly one of them. Lot of nice work but hate the wheels, mirrors, colour and the stupid stripe on the roof. Went classic but then didn't.
@cjwal6146 жыл бұрын
What wheels are those???? They look so nice on that car!
@LaKuan6 жыл бұрын
I wonder how much time did it take, and how much did it cost. Also, how much hp its making. Amazing job.

Any Idea How much cost a rebuild like that?
@S.P.A.R.K.Y.6 жыл бұрын
Like upgrading an F-15 eagle they came about in the seventees.
@oilylampman72526 жыл бұрын
the f15 eagle is so much faster, and doesn't have a heavy rear end.
@S.P.A.R.K.Y.6 жыл бұрын
It's performance would have been better as a front-mid engine?

Great build, but to use an original 930? Hummm....plenty of donor 911's out there.

I agree with you 1970.

@pg91446 жыл бұрын
that was a galvanized Porsche - how did it get that rusty?
@Steve_MFr5 жыл бұрын
The earliest galvanized 911's are now 43 years old. Generally, there is a lot more of the shell left over than there would be of a similar '75 and earlier model, but they still rust.
