Nice~ My LS1 968 with tr224cam put down close to 380WHP~ but I am still runing two cat on each side of exhaust !!

Interested in doing a ls swap into a 944. Did you have to do a lot of mods to the fram of the car? Who did you mate your transmission to the engine. What did you do for the drive shaft?

sounds like an f1 any mods to up the rpm? and what lsx did you use?

No major mods for RPM; just stiffer springs for the cam and Comp Cams rocker arm trunions. Redline is set at 6500rpm but i typically shortshift anyhow. The motor is an LS1 from an '04 GTO so it has the LS6 intake and LS6 block. Still a 5.7L with the stock 241 heads.

why? the 2.5 i4 in a 944 is already capable of 400+ hp with a not-that-extreme turbo.

It was a custom exhaust; 2.5" off the headers to a single 4" with Borla XR-1 muffler.

Yes, i ran it with the Turbo S transmission. Held up fine, just don't launch it.
