Porsche Boxster S Headers Installed !!!!!!

I finally got the headers installed on my Boxster. It was a fitment nightmare but it finally got done. And it sounds AWESOME !!!!

Sounds great but a tad too much. If it were solely a track car I would leave it like that. But I put the stock muffler on and now it's too quiet :-(

Ye, they do as long as they have some sort of rollover protection. It can be factory, as the case with Boxsters, or aftermarket.

I put the racing dynamics headers from pelican on my 986 03 S with 200 cell cats, I had one of those Chinese mufflers had to put the stock muffler back on too load for the street. Looking at a pair of varex valve mufflers so I can switch it on and off

Great idea. The straight headers with cheap mufflers do little to quiet it down.

At first, it almost looked like you could add a 2 or 3 inch pipe past the elbow towards the header. Those two angle fittings are a pain. Good luck Thursday on your race!

Yes, a pain for sure !! The coupler that goes there actually fills that gap so no need for additional pipe

Thanks !!! Yes, I do use track pads. Right now on the Boxster I am using Pagid RS29's commonly referred as Pagid Yellows

Aside from fitment issues that were resolved with a big hammer, they have been good. For the price I would say you can't go wrong

You didnt throw a check engine light when you did your headers and youre not using spacers??

The rear sensor has an extension so it does not trigger CEL

They are cheapie ebay headers and mufflers. Not sure if they even have a brand.
