Hey guys, in this video, I'm going to be comparing the Porsche Taycan Turbo to the base Taycan. I recently reviewed the base Taycan and was really impressed with it, but I was curious to see how the Turbo trim would stack up.
The biggest difference between the two trims is the power. The Turbo has 670 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of torque, compared to the base Taycan's 402 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. This means that the Turbo is significantly faster, going from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, compared to the base Taycan's 4.0 seconds.
The Turbo also has better handling than the base Taycan. It has a more aggressive suspension setup and it comes standard with rear-wheel steering. This makes the Turbo more agile and responsive, especially in corners.
In terms of features, the Turbo gets a few things that the base Taycan doesn't. These include a third passenger infotainment screen, a more advanced sound system, and the EV motor noise.
So, which one is the better car? I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you want the fastest and most capable Taycan, then the Turbo is the way to go. But if you're looking for a more affordable option, the base Taycan is still a great car.
Personally, I love the Porsche Taycan Turbo. It's a beautiful, fast, and luxurious car that's also a blast to drive. I would take this over the Tesla Model S Plaid any day, even though it's more expensive.
