The unique design of this portable Chinese heater can be used as a stove as well as a heater. The small size of this butane heater makes it a great choice for Truck Camping, Van Life, Overlanding and Boondocking.

I have the same heater, the manual says "do not cook on the heater", so better to keep food warm on the grill, but not cook on it. Probably the ceramic burner can be busted by boiling food run out from pot. And then cannot be cleaned. but for heating it's great.

I think you are right. Anything getting on the burner would cause issues. 👍

I just bought one works well it came with what looks like another adaptor (brass with to open ends) i have no idea what that is for and the instructions done say what it is for do you have any idea?. I did a Co2 test with my Sensorcon professional grade Co2 meter and it read zero Co2 inside the house. BTW you have the exact first impression i had.I said to myself this thing is not going to work, but it ran like a top. Paid 61.00 there is a similar model its all black also named different its about 100.00.I thought that was a little much for this type of heater so i went with the YANCHUNA (matata lol)

@@TrailMedic911 ah ok hmm looks like a small LP hose would fit on the threads of the fixture you can see through the hole in it. A 20 lp tank would last for months im guessing ?

I got this and its very hard to ignite. If you don't push a few buttons in exactly the right order it doesn't burn it just emits gas and within a minute or two the back of you're track has enough gas to go boom. It seems like a very unsafe device to me. I have a Snow Peak backpacking stove that is very easy to light, you couldn't blow yourself up if you tried, the Snowpeak is too small to use as a heater however and I was really hoping this device would work.

@@TrailMedic911 It's not defective, pulling the ring on the the side while clicking sparking opens extra gas to facilitate ingintion.

Asian/Chinese grocery shops. Still $5.99 for a pack of 4, as of Dec 2023. These butane gas are very common household items for Chinese, used for hotpots, or table top BBQ.

@@TrailMedic911 Heater consumes 90 grams per hour on max, so a 227 gr canister lasts for 2- 2,5 hours. Lower heating lasts for longer so abt 4 hours as you expected.
