portable water heater with bi-metal plate failed to "flicked" as i would do when water is boiling at its peak point.

Kettle in family home will not auto switch off. I check the biometric disc (beneath the switch), it's fine. It flexs when heated and fully connects with the switch, yet will not trigger the switch when powered on. Kettle water just boils, boils, and boils away, rocking and shaking. Steam wand inside is not blocked and channels well onto the biometric disc (lid is on/shut). Completely perplexed with the unit at this point 😦😕.

hi bro, there is a very small pin (porcelain sort of material) that when the bimetal flex it pushes the pin to "kick" the switch to offposition.. see if it is still there...if it is broken, that's the cause of not shutting off.

hi Michael i used the same part bro, i just bent it a little bit..(if its rusty, just run a few stroke of fine sand paper before bending)

In my case same as your kettle never auto cut off... I replace with new one's 10 A, 13 A but it never works... Pls reply 👍

dehins naman bro...nasa ibang bansa kasi ako ngayon.. at 90% ng subs ko ay puro english ang first language nila. so pinagbibigyan ko sila ngayon..pag andyan na ako sa pinas, tagalog na po ang gagamitin ko. saka tayo namang mga Filipino ay halos second language na rin natin ang english, kaya alam ko naiintindihan ang paputol putol ko na english. sa mga huli kong video ay dual po.. english ang caption at tagalog po ang audio, GOD BLESS bro salamat sa pagpuna.

hi bro i hope i got your question correctly.. the bimetal is heat sensitive it bends when it sense heat, and bends back when heat is gone. and in long period of use it worned out, and this cause the premature shutting off of the water heater, (and in some cases it stuck and the water heater keep on boiling and dont shut off, This is the dangerous scenario that may cause fire)

marami na din ang nagsabi sa akin niyan.. kaso, may mga subscriber/viewer din na mga ibang lahi bro..mga pareho din nating mahihirap, unfair naman sa kanila. pero may nag suggest na Filipino ang audio, lagyan ko na lang ng English caption. at iyan ang gagawin ko sa mga susunod kung mga video. ty bro.

uy mayroon na namang nag react.. paliwanag: kasi po mas marami akong subscriber at viewer na di Filipino at gusto ring matuto sa ginagawa ko. sory kung kayo po ay nahihirapan sa pagsasalita ko. simply lang po..e mute niyo ang audio. tingnan niyo na lang ang ginagawa ko po. baka may maitulong s iyo.
