OK to be honest, for all the real people out there, I do not really recommend watching this video or playing the game. I did this video because (edit: MULTIPLE) fools managed to get tons of views covering this game even though it doesn't edit much horror-wise and the comments are complimenting them. This is extremely confusing to me but why not take the chance.

This is... kinda disappointing. This feels much more like an aesthetic mod than a real "Creepypasta". It doesn't really add anything. Some unmeaningful short cut-scenes. Text and corpses in places. Nothing that really phases you. There's no particularly interesting story being told. The lack music that only turns this into a big bore. There's very little really. Very Meh. Also, Error? That is the least inspired name they could have chosen for this. Absolutely no information or relevance to the actual content.

i think its more focused on the sheer isolation aspect that portal 1 has. glados is totally removed, so the isolation is even more apparent, but yeah idk what the cutscenes are for

@@Milbyte11Maybe. But it doesn't really add much when portal already exists. There's no proper justification why this is a fangame for portal and not... Anything else.

ok to be fair this is the first time someone actually tried to mix creepypasta with portal 1 so it is not that comparable with, for example, the portal 2 scene (office prank series)

I guess this was just meant as a "what if Portal was made as a horror game instead?" Which . . . all that really shows is how much Portal would've blown if it was a horror game. The horror and atmosphere are done well enough, but there's not nearly enough specific horror content for this to work. I suppose it could've been better in releasing tension at a couple of points, but mostly, I don't feel like this was done poorly, so much as the concept wasn't strong.

@@sergoarkhipov9364 It's boring because there's nothing of note added. A couple of disappearing hallways, some extra blood smears, but there's no extra models, assets, and even the new scripted scenes are just sequencers, nothing complex. There's obviously no new music, and new sound effects are minimal. We don't even see any new levels. So, we're probably looking at something hacked together from existing resources, and with some add'l unstated self-imposed restraints from the author. Within that frame, is what I'm calling "done well enough". The amount you would need to add here to make it a good horror game would be on the level of just making an entirely new game.
