Fun video, but u can't lug the 562, have to keep them in the power with finesse .... Take that 562 & put a thin gasket under that cylinder , a popup , and a "smart" muffler mod , just simple stuff ANYONE can do; and watch it get a little grunt :) The Makita looks like fun, and isn't that the definition of win really? These are great video's for me btw.

Those 5 series saws run like they have been ported and polished w just a muffler mod two awesome saws you got there I'm looking at a Makita 6100 def has my interest already have a mk ii converted to 3/8 run like a champ w a stock 20 bar and chain def interested in a light weight bar just not sure on which one

Makita makes a good saw for the money. I hate em for what they did to Dolmar, but they did make a good saw.

Still like the makita :-) Some of the elder echos were like that.. the semi clamshell. I think that's the best of both worlds. Save on weight, still able to work on it/repair it.

Boedy do a muffler mod on your 562 then run them again. I think you’ll see a difference. But go ahead and put my name in the basket for the Makita it would be a nice addition to my lineup. I think we’d like to see the ThunderKitten against both of those saws since it puts out about the same power. So then you’d have a muffler mod only saw vs. two ported and muffler modded saws! I know the 4910 runs a 20” bar but given its smaller displacement that would be fair I think?🤔
