Terrain (Extended) features an expanded version of the composition re-arranged for the Portico Quartet Ensemble - a subtle re-configuration of the band that features a string quartet - and which allowed for the compositions deeper textures and resonances to be fully explored, along the way expanding the dialogue between tranquillity and a subtly unsettling melancholy, that makes Terrain such a beautiful, powerful piece.
Recorded live in the extraordinary acoustics of Studio One, in one continuous live take, with the cameras rolling.

Even the black and white video suits the music, enabling the music to be the hero without distraction (much like black and white photography) and is true to the album artwork) as well. Great late night listening/viewing!

Music that makes you feel! Have been luck enough to see Portico live a couple of times. Cant understate the power of this music! Both myself and my GF at the time described their performance as lifechanging, absolutely incredible artists.
