Hi y'all! We’re Adam and Kathryn, an adventurous married couple living in a Sprinter van! You can often find us scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos, climbing mountains, cuddling our fur child Kona, and dreaming about Hawaii.
We created Adventures of A+K to help busy, budget conscious, and adventurous travelers maximize their vacation time and money wherever they go through detailed travel guides, vlogs, and resources. Our goal: to help you spend less time (and stress!) planning your trip and more time enjoying it!

My favourite city I've ever been to. Every time I go to the USa for vacation, I spend a week or two in Portland. Awesome!

@@AdventuresofAplusK If I could get a job and a visa, I'd move to Portland tomorrow - even with all the insanity going on in the US right now! Next time you're there, go to Proud Mary in Alberta Arts - a little taste of Australia in NE PDX! Authentic flat white coffees and Vegemite on toast!

My Daughter and I was in Portland May of 2019 .this was her 2nd trip there and it was my first...We sooooo love this ice cream place and other places up the street too and more lol..love the grilled cheese bus too that's up the street.can't wait to come back.

This popped up on my suggested and it made me smile. I worked at the panini booth at the Portland Saturday market and grew up going there as my family had two booths. They had to end their business due to Covid. Thank you for this awesome video of things actual Portlanders would do.

Oh my goodness! I wish I could eat that much! haha Loved both vlogs about Portland and the gorge. Lived in Beaverton for a few months when I was a kid but Portland and Beaverton have really grown up since then! We would both love to visit again. Will have to keep some of those places in mind when we go. Thanks!

You need to add Sugar Street Bakery and Bistro on this list. Honestly the cupcakes are Delicious and they are named after Portland streets.... Naito, Pettygrove, Alberta, etc. This place is so popular but still a lot of non locals have no idea about it!

Hi guys. I really like your videos. I am most likely going to Northern Cali and Oregon on a Road trip with the family next year, so I found your Oregon content and really liked what I found. Hopefully you can give me some more tips when the time comes 😊 I live in Denmark which is pretty far from the Pacific Northwest but If you ever plan to visit Europe and Copenhagen let me know. I run a food tour in the City, and consider yourselves invited along.

Interesting …but you need to add the famous waterfall….and or hike on a local scenic trail….next time on an upcoming visit…less focus on food…more on activities 🤍still love your channel…who doggie sits for your adorable dog….🦮.

Hi, are you gluten intolerant? Just wondering why you said you couldn't eat the biscuits...(I have Celiac so I can't have gluten). My husband and I are coming to Portland at the end of August, beginning of Sept this year for our 5 year anniversary, and I'm so excited. Thank you so much for these videos!

Hi Christy! I am not celiac, but I am sensitive to gluten (although I ate a TON of gluten in Italy just fine, but it’s processed a bit differently there). Portland is an AWESOME city, especially in the summer. Y’all are going to have a blast! It’s one of our favorite cities for food and many spots are super friendly to dietary restrictions! A couple spots we love that aren’t on this vlog but are gluten free friendly are Teote, ¿Por Que No?, and Pok Pok (our FAV! And they do a gluten free kao soi!). Have an awesome trip and let us know if you have any questions before you go! 🤗
