My first visit to Porto Tolle, in the province of Rovigo, Veneto, northern Italy. A town already close to Venice and completely surrounded by the waters of the Po and the Adriatic Sea . The home of the most prestigious Carnaroli rice perfect for risotto.
Had to tatse many local specialties for the first time, the pink oyster and the white polenta.
I love the countryside feel, the ricefileds ( brought me closer to home) the amazing views, the sea, the houses with Camino ( chimney) and the highlight of our visit " the town fiesta celebration" through an invitation of our friend who are a local of the place.
Another travel destination with experience to keep and treasure.
