I've been shooting photography most of my adult life. It started with an on sale Nikon D3200 that wasn't even interested in using, all the way through being a photography business owner, teacher, and KZfaq Photography Content Creator.
My favorite subjects are Human Portraits and Shallow Depth of Field with my specialty, or claim to fame if you will, being Dramatic Nude and Bodyscape. Over my many years of photography I've mastered many genres but I never stop learning and I don't want you to stop either. That's why I started my KZfaq Channel in the year 2020. After a hiatus from photography, I picked up my camera again just in time for the Covid Pandemic. The world shut down. With more time than ever and no humans to photograph I found myself bored but motivated. ZWade Photo, the KZfaq Channel, was born.
I have always been a Nikon brand photographer, but in my community on KZfaq there is limitless room for Canon, Sony, Fuji, Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon, AND any other brand, photographers. Follow along as this channel one day grows into the biggest, most honest, and most fun photography community on the internet.

Glad you made this vid but don't worry about the negative little f***s in comments. Seriously considering grabbing a license for this because man, the amount of TIME it would save me... plus probably do a better job than me lol. Was wondering about an "amount" slider so we can adjust the final result, thanks for answering that.Good stuff!

I'm teetering on ordering because I already use and have paid for an app that does the same thing. I did notice on the site that there is a 14 day money back guarantee if you don't like the product once it ships. I don't know if you've mentioned that or not in your videos.

How does this differ from Luminar Neo? Seems like it has the same features.

Luminar Neo is more “whole” system, something like any other editing software with its own unique features. Aperty is really directed toward portraits editing with stronger tools specific to portraits

@@ZWadePhoto I suppose my question is really, what are those stronger portrait tools? Why not concentrate on making Neo tools stronger instead of dividing developer resources?

@@Rocky-AR from what I currently use in Neo, the skin AI is limited to some cleaning up of skin but not abrasions and “Kind of” doing frequency separation which in my opinion is “good enough” that I dont take it further in PS and it can also exchange that cleanup with some noise and texture which I’m not a huge fan of. Aperty looks clean noise wise and is legitimately running frequency separation in a slider. I would prefer FS but I just don’t have the patience when Neo is quasi doing it with a few drawbacks. Aperty is also legit removing things that skin AI does not. Totally different operation. As to why it’s a different program. Well I’m definitely not a programmer but I am a businessman so it’s one of 2 things and both are speculating. Program: I’ll know for sure next month, but it could possibly just be a big, powerful RAM hog. Or maybe it’s just another thing that’s a little too niche to add making NEO more daunting to look at. 🤷‍♂️ Business wise: speculating again. It’s either so powerful that it’s almost an unreasonable charity to include in the current price model of NEO, or they just simply know that not everyone needs it but those that do REALLY will want it. Either way, they put time in to develop a tool that may end up being a game changer for folks that shoot work like me and if you spend the time and resources building something that people want you need to recoup the investment into the product. It might not be for you Rocky. At the very least you can hold off until tests next month
