Ravens are incredibly smart, have their own language and society. They for sure all knew of your family, your routes and habits, and when you needed help they could provide. Living in the wilderness is something else, man.

I love birds. I legitimately quit smoking after 28 years because it was smokes, or seed and suet for my backyard crew. These guys keep me sane working from home. The pure unadulterated joy I get seeing them at my office window every day is priceless. When I go out at morning chorus to throw seed and they don't fly away makes me irrationally emotional 😂

Ravens are so rad!!! My daughter's name is Raven. I see them all over the NW. I love seeing them in the mountains and befriending them. Some of the best conversations I've had are with Ravens. So blessed I get to be in the mountains with such good friends.
