In this video, Adam teaches you the perfect posture to hit flighted wedges. Hitting flighted wedges gives you a lower trajectory beneath the wind in order to have more accurate approach shots into the green. Adam also teaches the perfect posture for your wedges and irons. Many golfers tend to bend forward excessively which can lead inconsistent golf shots and sometimes, back pain. This video is essential for all golfers that want a more consistent golf swing and want to lower their score!

One of Adams most admirable qualities is he doesn’t just say this is how you should do it or name drop tour players as an example he explains why and the consequences of alternative or indifferent set up and posture, he is obviously well read ,very observant and a very good listener, thank you Porzak Golf.

By far the best instructional content on KZfaq. Adam and Mike are great at explaining and simplifying each lesson. So much to learn on this channel. I am also a fan of Todd Sones who Adam occasionally refers to in his videos. Todd has published a few instructional books that are great reads.

Love you guys. Want to say, everything you’ve taught on KZfaq, it all clicked when I got my wedge hits down. Feeling that rotation and doing it with the iron swing helped me get so consistent. Not hooking or slicing or miss hitting. You guys knocked 10 strokes off my golf game already. Looking to break 90 soon and hope 85 when I get my driver and woods down.

Great explanation of set up and I really like anchoring elbow to the center of body as you take the set up. Can this be used for irons and woods. I struggle with distance of my stance from the golf ball. Thanks

Love the content, I can't stop watching them! I am curious about how to work around injuries, I have injuries in left elbow from other activities and increasingly more painful to swing hard at impact. Golf is a big part of my life I am not ready to give it up, but just curious if there needs to be adjustments on the grip or shoulder rotation during setup to help prevent worsening it? thanks so much!

In previous videos you mention speeding up the hands, isn't it actually the arms? Also when I bump the hips I seems to hit my driver left.

Hi adam, is this set up cue with the arms in front of the body applicable for wedges too? I cant seem to properly stay over my ankles with my hip joint with my irons ... i allway fall back with my hips..

I am 6’4”… and even if I hit the ball pretty well… too high wedges shooting… but… if I try to play the ball as you explain… I feel like only the tie of my club sits on ground… bad club fitting… or bad student😂?

Great content as per usual. Does eye dominance ever get considered in your teaching? Without going into detail, I feel like I could write a book on the subject.
@johnaustin635
@johnaustin635 2 жыл бұрын
If it’s of any interest when at a golf clinic by Trevino years ago at Gleneagles Trevino reckoned that if you were right dominant there was more natural tendency to stand open and stand closed if left eye dominant ( assuming you are right handed) which when explained makes sense as the tendency is to turn the head and shoulders to look at the target to a greater or lesser degree depending on which eye dominates your view and as it’s done subconsciously and gradually it’s very difficult for the golfer himself to be aware of this, his cure for this was to swivel your head at address to view the target rather than lift your head and look face on at the target when in the address position.

We love to have a knockdown or flighted mentality with all our clubs! The less lofted clubs will have to be longer smoother versions.
