I loved this storyline soooo much! It spoke VOLUMES about the differences in identity and the internalized homophobia/patriarchy in the community. Also, it was just so FUN to see them all debut at the end

To a point. You can't feel where your foot is at all in platforms like that. You just have to know exactly how to step so not to fall.

Fair...but trust me, platforms are no joke either. I used to go out clubbing (WHY, oh why...) in six inch heels with 2 inch platforms. Yes, it helps with the incline but your foot is still at an unnatural angle with the weight on your toes and where the entire ground is an unknown factor and you better have good balance or you are going to step wrong, twist your ankle, and end up looking like the most ungraceful broken giraffe ever. It is just...awkward.
