I've never seen a droptop Challenger, but I can only imagine it looking awful (I don't like the Challenger that much to begin with). From the land down under, Our 17 YO's are the Commodore owners, I remember some dickhead rev bombing their V6 Commodore (Sounded like a rat being drowned), then he thought he could pick my quiet Commodore for a race. My stock Commodore made his Commodore look like a Subaru shitbox, and even then he still tried to race infront of me, I didnt care and let the dickhead infront after I hit around 95KPH in a 70KPH zone, because having to pay a $1200 speeding fine weren't worth it!

Loved my 13 STi for the 6 years i owned it, sold it recently. Still will always love Subaru as a whole! If any of you are going down the cringe chaser route, I was there too, until I met some people who have nothing to prove, and true gearheads. As Drew said at the end, going down that route would have made me a different person entirely and lose sight of something I'm passionate about.

To me there's a difference between cars that are built as a convertible and cars that come as convertibles. Only the former gets a pass from me, let the rest keep their roofs or you get things like the Murano. Actually the only thing of the latter that gets a pass from me is the Dakota Sport.

Yeah I remember reading about it and it's like a special order type of deal where you buy the car and the dealer sends it to one of a number of Dodge-licensed shops that do the conversion. If I remember correctly it costs a fortune and ruins the car. It removes probably 30% to 40% of its structural rigidity at a minimum, likely makes the interior loud and unpleasant to dive on the interstate, and it ruins the looks of the car I think. I would also think that if it is done to a Hellcat RE or even a normal HC, the twisting forces from the engine and drivetrain from a hard launch probably twists/flexes the car up so badly that all the body panel gaps will be all over the place, there will be creaks, rattles, and squeaks at all speeds, and it will never been in alignment again for the rest of it's existence.
