This was meant to have some photos at the end of it, but I've had some equipment malfunctions his weekend, and won't be able to generate any proper photography for a bit. Hope this is worthwhile to at least someone.

This video presentation was not only aesthetically pleasing, it felt calm, pleasant, and therapeutic. The lighting in this room and how you have it setup is perfect for this content. How you have the camera zoomed in works well with the audience seeing all the details, but also making it feel personal. Sorry to be wordy, but your video helped me get over the fence. I've been contemplating this purchase for a while. Thank you very much.

Just finding this video and you have done an absolutely fantastic job. All of your “How to be a poser” videos are wonderful and super knowledgeable, but this one may take the cake. The calm nature of you truly admiring the figure and analyzing it as you go is wonderful to see. This figure is now available to purchase and it sure is tough not pulling the trigger on it. Thank you for taking the time to share your passion with us. Be well!

Awesome stuff, Terry! I'm happy to be the 100th like for this video 😁 I very much enjoyed your raw edition since it gave your audience a sneak peek of what happens during an unedited pose session, and I was smiling all throughout the video at the little nuances that reflect my own off-camera posing sessions as well (i.e. debating whether or not he'll be duel-wielding / flying, should I go dig up a flight stand or not bother etc). I'm glad you mentioned how the magic is in the editing because recording each pose video is sometimes an all-day affair that our viewers might not be aware of 😅 Also, I agree with ya about Dave Filoni. He is the quintessential mastermind behind many of the best stories in all of Star Wars, and I too enjoyed Clone Wars + Rebels very much. Plus, the way Dave speaks during interviews is always so passionate and awe-inspiring... makes me want to be a better version of myself. Anyways that was a lot of fun and the final pose was effin' rad! Looking forward to seeing more of your posing videos outside of HTBAP so please keep these coming! Stay safe and take care 🙏

Hi, Peter! Thanks for chiming in. Yeah, it was an interesting experiment. Still not sure if I'll do more like this. I was mainly interested in learning if it would save me time. Turns out it didn't. All of the talking was distracting me from the posing.

Love how you nailed the pose in the last 3 or 4 minutes of the video. I understand the whole work gets you to it, but in the final 3 or 4 minutes everything took its place so quickly!!! Btw, love this videos, watch you and hear you taking about posing is great.

nestoryc Thanks! The guys who produce the videos for Sideshow have pointed out that that happens a lot. It’s just how things go when a figure requires a lot of setup.

WOW!!!! I was in the market for a 1/6 scale Boba Fett and couldn't figure out which way to go. Do I wait for the Hot Toys re-release of the deluxe or should I just get this one. I think I'm getting this one. That pose Terry put this guy in was breathtaking (though my all time fav still goes with Terry's Endor Luke on speeder bike -- if you guys didn't see it, you owe it to yourselves to check it out!). I do not. Wolverine doesn't exactly top my list of favorite characters these days. Liked him a lot when I was younger. But I just lost interest in his story after a certain point.

Great review. Roughly what size display case would you need? I’m thinking of ordering a mythos. 👍

Anything taller than 13 inches should do it (unless you wanted to put him on a flight stand). Not sure how many figures you're planning to own, so I can't be of much help beyond that.

Awesome video, pose and figure. I’m tempted to get one since I can’t source the cloak or whatever it’s called for my HT ESB one. On the helmet is the visor an separate piece or just painted black how Sideshow used to do?

Hey, Terry. Thanks for the awesome video. I wanted to ask you, how do I straighten out my boba fett’s range finder without breaking it? It came crooked so was bummed but hoping that I can fix it. Thank you and stay safe.
@PosemasterGeneral4 жыл бұрын
Hey, Gojira_431. That’s unfortunate, but not unheard-of. Depending on the severity of the bend, there are a couple of things you could try. Both of them involve softening the plastic, and then slowly and gently correcting the bend by bending it the other way. You can immerse the helmet in boiling water to do this. I prefer using a hair dryer or a heat gun with an adjustable setting, set to a really low temperature. (You don’t want it so hot that it melts the plastic, obviously...) I have another video on my channel in which I repair a broken Shock Trooper figure, and using my heat gun is part of the process. You can watch that to get a look at my heat gun technique. Hope that helps!

Hey, while I was watching your video I discovered something I bet you or your viewers didn't know! I was trying to put the damn jet pack on and suddenly I thought I broke it because a piece flipped out! I'm like wtf? Well Guess what. Check out the sides of the rocket on the jet pack! They have silver pieces that flip out and WILL pose! Since I am missing my instructions and you didn't mention it or show it, I figured you were also unaware this exists as a feature. I was holding my figure upside down along with the jet pack trying to get the jet pack on..so check it out!

Hey Terry, how you use to keep all your figures so clean without using a glass container?
@PosemasterGeneral4 жыл бұрын
Hey, Alonso. Thanks for watching. I've noticed that dust varies from climate to climate. It was much worse when I lived in Sother California, which is a desert climate, and where dust builds up A LOT. It's less of an issue on the east coast of the U.S., where I am now. Older buildings also tend to have more dust, I think. Apart from cleaning the house regularly and keeping the figures in a climate-controlled environment, I periodically clean them with makeup brushes. I've never needed to do more than that.

I’m on the fence about getting this. Many Facebook groups and reviews keep saying it’s very lose and falls apart easily. And the figure is not comparable to the hot toys boba fetts. Still not sure because it looks so cool.
@PosemasterGeneral4 жыл бұрын
I agree that the joints could be tighter. As to it falling apart, I'm not sure what people could be refering to. Apart from the joints at the shoulders and the hips, it's a finely-executed figure. I saw a video of some lunatic having a meltdown because he thought pieces were falling off of his, but it was really just the tools from his leg pouches.
@PosemasterGeneral4 жыл бұрын
I should point out that I've had my hands on two of these, and neither one has presented any significant issues.
