I had a quick question about what the INSTANTANEOUS VELOCITY of the turtle would be at "t= 4 seconds"? Because there's a corner and according to calculus, when you have a "CORNER" or a "CUSP" in the graph, it has "NO DERIVATIVE", that is you CANNOT DETERMINE the SLOPE of a "CORNER/END POINT/ CUSP". Besides, this graph CHANGES slope SUDDENLY at t=4 seconds. So, can we determine the instantaneous velocity at t= 4 seconds?

No, we actually can't determine! It was just represented that way for a simple example, otherwise, that kind of position vs. time graph is not possible at t=4 [or even at t=2]

The slope at x=4 is undefined, so the velocity at x=4 is also undefined.

For the instintaneous velocity is -4 m/s to the left refering to when the turtle is going backwards? If so does that mean when the turtle goes forward the instintaneous velocity is 3/2 m/s to the right?

Yes, because displacement is the change of position of an object. If you move back from your starting position, your displacement is negative.

I have an equation x= f(t): t So x=t. Then, 1 unit length is equals 1 unit time. How can length equal time they're two different quanties? x (length) = t (time)?

Doesn't the graph represent the time for the frame of reference of the point of origin? A graph constructed by the traveling turtle might have different contours which graph out the point of origin, not the turtle? Then again, the turtle may have forgotten to bring along some graph paper and a pencil?

Isn't this a tortoise and not a turtle, if the jet pack expels flames then it can't be placed underwater which means that the creature that the jet pack is placed on breathes air and not water which in turn means that this is in fact a tortoise and not a turtle.
