It helps me a lot to overcome/ treat my anxiety, depression and stress as diagnosed by Doctors from various hospitals, Normally I am being attacked twice a week for many years especially when my stress level is very high, resulting to difficulty in breathing but all vitals signs are normal all laboratory results are normal. I started to watch this video last month, at first there is a resistance but I forced myself to continue watching until 3 times I religiously and keenly listen every morning and before sleep. Now I' m getting better and better 80% of my mental health issues are gone. You helped me save my deteriorating thoughts , health and money. I believe SELF-WILL is power! Sincerely, Thank you very much for this video, a medicine for psychological sickness...

Good to hear man, experiencing the same problems lately. Meditation and reading books (like hopes and help for your nerves) are really helping me right now

@@DHDD Indeed, I'm recovering from my psychological illness and a lot of big change in my life, I am very productive, have peace and happy even I am alone abroad away from my parents and sibling. Before I cannot stay alone without somebody around me and cannot sleep if not noisy and even sometimes I hang-out in 24hrs coffee shop or mini marts to make fall asleep. This is how severe my anxiety and depression, Before, I used to hire an oldman just to sleep around my unit. my life go around at work and home only, where I been handling 180 team members. No nightlife, Imbalance lifestyle. Now I learn how to balance and value the time...I'm very thankful with this video, I used to listen to other motivational videos but this one have a very strong impact to me, precisely because of the scientific explanation and the how it is being presented in a lay mans understanding...my undying thanks to the whole team.

I believed in positive psychology and our thoughts can change our reality. However, I also believe in karma and all those things that had happened to us in the family / childhood that wasn't a results of our 'thoughts' only. Don't blame yourself for negative thoughts, give compassion to yourself and know that you can change your thought starting today.

From personal experience I recommend never to consciously observe your thoughts while physically active. Do it like a meditation while you are physically inactive like sitting somewhere. I was suck into the behaviour of just observing myself and my thoughts while on the move and it was not an easy struggle to get back to normal. But observing your thoughts is highly advisable provided you do it in a physically inactive mode

This is the exact video I was looking for and wanted to hear. When I type in positive thinking most of the results are not ppl explaining the science of it, but more so just positive affirmations and such which is great as well! But I love to hear how positive thinking actually affects your body. Thanks!🥰

“A study of psychologically normal people found that they had about 4,000 distinct thoughts each day. Of those, between 22 percent and 31 percent were unwanted and uncontrollable intrusive thoughts, while 96 percent of them were repetitive thoughts about daily activities (Klinger, 1996). The Cleveland Clinic’s Wellness Program says that 95 percent of our thoughts are repetitive and 80 percent of them are negative.” - Dawson Church. “Mind to Matter.”

Positively excellent. "The reality of man is his thought..." "...the power of the mind, for the soul is not, of itself, capable of unrolling the mysteries of phenomena; but the mind can accomplish this and therefore it is a power superior to the soul." ~ Abdu'l Baha, Baha'i Faith

Is it possible that some ppl are addicted to sadness. They don't feel right unless they can have something to complain or for sorry for themselves about. And is it possible that it actually makes them feel good for ppl to feel sorry for them, and if that's the case would that high they get off being I pitied release the dopamine chemical?

Philippians 4 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ⁸ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ⁹ Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
