I’ve personally have given away my multiple bottles of Stoner Glass Cleaner because I’ve found that most of the Rinseless washes do a good or better job than Stoner. And it’s one less speciality bottle I have to keep track of it. The trick is using a sponge to wipe the glass with the rinseless solution so it traps some of the dirt first. And then wipe it down with a good drying towel leaves me happy.

Great video! It seemed like the dirty window had less film when cleaned with Stoners, but I've always found Traceless to be impressive ever since I first used it. However, Stoners has definitely piqued my interest. Then the marker test was finding out the woman you love had no debt when you married her and better credit *UNICORN*

This is a great answer for glass, especially the inside windshield. Even the best, like the stoner I use, takes some effort to finish streak free. In the US, Traceless is on a preorder. I’ll give it a try.

Just a follow up. Received my bottle of Trace Less and put it to work. I wasn’t disappointed. I have been using CarPro’s Clarify for several years and I was certainly content with the results it produced. But this is just so much more effective. The single issue that convinced me was the way it cleaned the inside of the windshield. My only tip or advice is not to overspray the product. You do not need a lot of product. I have found my new glass cleaner. 👍🏻👍🏻

100%. I commented above ref Norwex Microfibres Enviro cloths relating to their quality. Once ya have a Norwex Enviro cloth and a Norwex drying / buff cloth you’ll not even need chemical cleaner to get glass clean. It’s the make up and quality of the cloth that’s the main factor so I can’t help agree with your post!

Hey Pan. Quick question is it bad to keep my detailing stuff out in the garage in this summer heat. It’s 30 + degrees here in Canada Right now I keep it in my basement. Was and keep hauling everything up to the garage every week when I need it to use it. I would like to just keep it in the garage if the heat wont damage the product. It feels way too hot in there I think
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 12 күн бұрын
30C is up there with the limits of storing products for sure. 35C is usually the highest temperature. Beyond that the products can start going bad. The solution is to have a heat pump like I have in my garage. I can keep my garage at a steady 20C year round, winter and summer.

Pan - I’m curious, I’ve been using a rinseless dampened towel to clean glass (interior and exterior) and it seems far better and easier than any glass cleaner I’ve tried. Even on a clean car. I currently have Koch-Chemie Gc and I’ve used it as a finisher but it doesn’t really seem to do anything as a finisher as the rinseless did all the work already. I’d love your opinion on if I’m missing something or why you like this better than using just rinseless? Thanks for your time! 😊
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 19 күн бұрын
A rinseless wash is a great alternative as long as it’s one that doesn’t leave anything behind. So if people are unsure about their rinseless wash, a glass cleaner is a better option. But yes a good rinseless wash line DIY Detail or Armour Detail Supply Hero is great for glass. Which one do you use ?

It's the best glass cleaner I have ever tested. But on a normal car wash, always wash the car first, and use the glass cleaner at the very end of the wash process, as one should. So if you have tons of bug guts, use a bug remover, pre-wash, wash, and then use the glass cleaner at the end. It should leave crystal clear glass.

It was just so so but if i was hit with a bunch of sharpies though :)... but I currently use "invisible Glass" and have finally been able to get that ( whatever you call it streaking/smearing ) after you finished for both of them completely gone but it took a few weird steps to make it happen. 1) pre wash i use the "invisible Glass" and a magic eraser and scrub the surface so i get all the crap off and the wipe with a fresh waffle weave towel. 2) i use Adams Brilliant Glaze with a waffle sponge applicator on the whole window and let the whole thing sit until dry . 3) use a fresh short nap microfiber to take off the Adams Brilliant Glaze. 4) wash the car as normal. 5) when drying the car i never touch the front window again i just use my eGo blower on the front window and it's perfect... and i only call it perfect because i can pull out the driveway and directly into the sun and it's absolutely streak free... I know it sounds strange but it's the only way I've been able to have the wife say "that looks amazing" ... weird i know but happy wife happy life

I work in the glass industry... using the magic eraser works well, but you can also just use a block of Styrofoam. Just grab a brink out of a package and try it. The simple cheap white stuff. You can wipe a sharpie right off and it does a great job cleaning the glass along with something like invisible glass spray.

What are you having problems with? The clean and reach tool by Stoners followed by a waffle weave towel works everytime for me. Less is more when using glass cleaners. Let the microfiber bonnet do the work. I wash my glass towels separately from other towels. Less pressure works better on glass because it has no pores and can't be penatrated. Everything is exactly on the surface. Less product less pressure. 90% of interior front glass funk is from the blower vents (oils, pcbs, and moisture).
