POST OFFICE, ARTIC VENTURES & PUBLIC HEALTH IN IQALUIT, NUNAVUT.
In this video we run some errands and go to the Post Office and Parcel Pick-Up, Arctic Ventures Grocery Store and Public Health to get some shots! Showing Iqaluit, Nunavut and some key locations!
Thanks for watching! We are a young couple living in the Canadian Arctic, and currently expecting our first baby in February 2019!

Has any of the North Mart opened since the fire? Arctic Ventures looks like a nicer store than North Mart. I only went to NM in my short stay July 2018.

Yes North Mart has been open for a couple of weeks but we’re still shopping at arctic ventures, which doesn’t have a meat section lol

This video showing around your city makes me wonder about your knowledge of the KFC/Pizza Hut? Have you ever bought chicken or pizza there? I’m thinking of sending in a resume as they apparently frequently have openings (from what I gather some employees don’t bother turning up for work).

I have so many questions!! 1) what is the language written on the signs? 2) do you guys speak another language? 3)what is the temp? It’s beautiful but it looks so cold! 4) and how do you even afford to live there with those grocery prices im in sticker shock! Ps I came from the fb group 😘

The language is called Inuktitut and is what most of the Inuit speak! Most also know English, and there are a lot of French speaking people here too! We just speak English and have no problem here :) the temperature today is -33C with the wind! It can get down to between -50C and -60C with the wind! We haven’t been here for a winter so we haven’t experienced those temperatures yet. The wages here are relative to the cost of living, but we would be doing better if I was working too! We order everything we can (food and stuff wise) on amazon to save money! Thanks so much for your comment and I love that you found this interesting! :)

any chance of learning anything about natives? or just this!!!!! What a great life of great people. Somehow all are outsiders. If you doing it by design I am ok that. But anyone with a brain can see through it. If possible extend your learning and help us to learn too. I hope you will. Why not?!😁
