Beer is extremely thorough.

At around 2.25 i think Jenkins comes across as very crafty & dishonest when he rows back on using the term "jumped on the bandwagon". Its in his email to Singh but he tries to say it originated with Singh although he can't really remember. On many other occasions he comes across as mealy mouthed & shifty. Beer does an excellent job trying to handle his slipperiness!

The point he keeps making over and over that "any problems would be spottable" and therefore this makes the system robust is absolute and utter rubbish. If you bought a car and it kept breaking down every single day then yes that's "spottable" as you can see your car keeps breaking down. Doesnt mean your car is 'robust' though does it!

at 28:01 in paragraph 3 is the kicker, but Jenkins explanation at 31:54 is the real crime - the only way they could check for these "Craig Park" transaction errors was to investigate the NT event logs. that is insane. Horizon fails the main test, it has no transaction integrity, in the very first place. can anyone see this? here is your real proof - and a computing science 101 fact - that Horizon "integrity" is a lie, and that Jenkins knows it, and has always known it. i think.. Horizon is built on Riposte, which is a message system, so there has to be an originating message for every transaction, that can be reconciled and audited. if this had integrity, there could be no possibility of transactions going missing, but Jenkins admits "eventing" - the need to search the system logs for transactions that do not exist, or cannot be reconciled, in the originating messages. and i understand you are all still depending on this software?

Because expertise, focus and information delivery is therefore split between individuals and teams it is no wonder that any activity might seem inarticulate and almost obstructive. GJ’s answers are truthful and highlight these environments. Which effectively brings notice on the enquiry to look closely at the justice system itself which relied solely on “hearsay evidence from a computer system” without corroborating evidence that a funds trail could prove theft beyond doubt. I hope that Sir W Williams comes to that conclusion.
