Glad to see you made it through surgery. I had mine April 2013 and still get pain when ever the weather changes. Maybe that's because I have staples in my chest. It was real fun the first time I had to walk through a metal detector at the court house. It's been almost three years and my skin still does not feel the same where I was cut open. A couple of months after I went back to work I was put on disability. Go figure but that's about to change. Will be looking forward to seeing you again at a terminal or truck stop...

You should be wearing a surgical binder... it is a wrap of a stretch material around your chest to hold you in check.

+BigRigTalk this is a question about truck types. I am considering a company that I will be doing regional/long haul they are offering 32 cents per mile with an added post job bonus, but they will give me a regional grade truck (I believe it is a Volvo VNL 430.) I will do a 10 days on doing regional, then 5 days off, then 15 days long haul, and then 7 days off. They did say within 6 months I will be given the option to get a new truck. I will be doing dry van trailers. So my question is: Is this a good first trucking job and what is the difference between a regional grade truck and a long haul truck? Best Wishes!
