Is there a way to override the materials of an object that enters a post process volume? For example, if a blue object enters the post process volume, it’s material will turn red when it enters the volume. Then turn blue after it exits the post process volume?

Thanks for the great tut. I wonder if you can give me some insight with an issue I have been dealing with for some days now... I´m working on an Android game, and I can´t get a Mobile Depth of Field better than barely noticeable, it´s very subtle and I need it to be way more strong. I think the problem is that the scale variable of the effect goes only up to 2, but I´m sure the effect can be pushed forward, and it´s just me that don´t know how to do it. Any ideas on how to tackle this for mobile? Thank you very much! (by the way, I prove it both in a PostProcess Volume and in a Cinematic Camera, in both cases with the same poor result)

Thanks for your support ! Thanks for your support! I'm not really familiar with Gaussian Depth of Field for mobile, unfortunately. If you're using a Cine Camera Actor, make sure to adjust the Min F-Stop value to allow a really low value on the Aperture (like 0.1). This will greatly increase the blur. 🙌

How do you know when to use the volume vs the camera exposure settings?

Hey Marcus ! 🙌 It really depends on the project, but when you use PPV exposure, you don't have all the attributes you can get with a real camera in your hands, like aperture behavior for example. With PPV, you play only with focus, not with the way light interacts with the camera itself. By using the camera's direct exposure, you get closer to reality.
