New subscriber here. Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your content, your pacing and editing makes watching your videos a calming and relaxing experience. I have grown tired of the overhyped and loud fishing videos every time I am looking for fishing content; they have their place and audience, but they are not my preference. Anyways, I have already used some of your tips with no success yet (the weather has been weird here in SoCal) but will keep trying. Keep doing what you do man, your videos are appreciated even if the views and subscriber count does not reflect that.

Thank you for picking up the litter, i always bring a couple grocery bags for that reason. On another note, I got into carp fishing big time this year and ive been going every week. I went fishing 12 days after i saw carp spawning heavy and had an amazing day. My first fish 30 minutes into the day was my first mirror carp (just over 10lb)! Then caught my pb of 14lb 4oz, along with 8 other carp. Thank you for the videos, most everything I've learned about carp fishing has been from your videos. Tight lines this season, i always look forward to your videos!

Nice job keeping your cool on the circus double!! Those situations always make me wish I had more partners who share the passion who could man the net or other rod that goes off! I also wish I had more spots like the one in this video with some nice shade for the hot summer days we know are coming! Most of my carpin’ venues are sun drenched!! I’ve been starting to think about pressing my surf fishing beach umbrella into service!! Thanks for another great video Tom. Glad to see active post spawn fish!!

I also use the bobber stop to fix the lead in place. Added bonus, if you get a beep on the line but no hook up, you can reel in and if it’s been moved you know it was something on the hook.

Nice catches, good job on the double trouble, I'm pretty sure I would have messed that up. I've been using your pack bait sinkers this year and they seem to work great by the way. I caught a 29 pounder a few days ago from lake Michigan. That's by far my biggest common yet.

I recall one time mid afternoon . Fishing a box of bran flakes and a can of cherries after a rain . Got my third rod in the water when the second ripped off. A good fight later . My first rod began to bend and I had to let it run for 20 seconds while I netted the fish. So now I got my rod in its holder open drag and the fish in the net and another rod in my hands . I net the second fish and unhook both of them . Get hooks off the ground on eyes. On stands and the third rod ran and It was absolutely fun trying to land that 20 pound channel cat into a net hog net that already had two 15-17 pound carp recovering in it . But I wanted the hattrick so I made it happen.

I caught 30 fish that day 12 over 20+ one 30 pound flathead around dusk on the can of cherries and bran flake ball . But this is after weeks and weeks of feeding into this exact same swim . It was no fluke the entire swim was full of the biggest fish in that stretch of the river.

Keep baiting the swim until they get competitive then its one the moment the conditions trigger a feeding spree.
