It’s recruiting, they already won as a program. They were 1-11 last season, that’s 750% better this season. Get an effective O-line to protect Shedeur and you will see an 8 or 9 win team in 24/25.

Among other things, I appreciate the coach's honesty. Big picture, need a new O line. That should motivate the right guys, so the current O line should pick it up a notch. They still have the opportunity. Coach just laid down the challenge to them. Honesty. Best for everyone. And I agree with his assessment about his son. One tough, smart, talented quarterback. Many, maybe most, would fold under the onslaught his son sees game after game, and he still puts up solid numbers, at times incredible numbers. Go Buffs!

While it may be true that you need to improve the players at certain positions.... lol you are basically stuck with them on that particular season. So you don't come out mid-season and claim you need to replace the whole line. As head coach you don't come out and say "I'm going to replace everyone." Now I realize in the age of the transfer portal it may be less important lol, but still you work with what you have and you worry about filling the positions in the off season. You don't "check out" on your players (even if they aren't very good), you try to improve.. because that is your team THIS SEASON, right now. There will be plenty of time post-season to worry about replacing them. It comes off as really childish and (honestly) very poor leadership.

The three early wins changed the expectations for this team via media hype train, even though most football media predicted year 1 was not to be a winning season. Offensive line lacks explosiveness and quickness; they have girth and mirth. As Coach mentioned Travis stayed to condition, et rather than vacation. The O-Line needs that kind of dedication, conditioning and agility. Michael Jordan out played everyone because he played like he practiced and while everyone was taking their down time, he was still perfecting his craft.

Ummm their was no transfer portal in Kirby’s first year. He might want to “worry “ about how Kirby handled his business because in short order Kirby had a team winning SEC championships and Natty’s in a much tougher conference. Kirby also didn’t have celebrity and NIL connections to help him get talent, he literally had to recruit and couldn’t buy himself a championship roster.

It takes time to build and what he has done in a very short time is just outstanding, trust and believe every high school senior wants to play for him because of the “FATHER ROLE” he displays in the lives of those young men who do not have that! He is not only building great football players , but great men of characters too so they will become great husbands, great entrepreneurs, great citizens, and great role models for generations to come and that is Winning in the game of life. As a former athlete, I understand and had that same coaching in my life and because of that I too have become successful emotionally, physically, financially, and Spiritually in Life and that my friends is “WINNING “, When people care about you beyond sports and want you to succeed in life.

Did Deion care about those kids from last year that he sent home packing? Was it not only about sports - because you mentioned when someone cares for you outside of sports also.. Apparently, he only looks at it from one lens. Also, next year, they're ranked 75th best in recruiting.. The following year their currently 45th. They have work to do... which shows no one is jumping to just play for him. It doesn't work that way.. What type of emotions do you think those kids he sent home last year have towards Deion.. Their families etc.. let's stop with the notion he does anything different than any other coach.. he's all about self and materialistic items.. None of that is Godly, he's getting a humbling experience right now.. Outside of his son's and Travis who else get praise and recognition on that team no one else..

Deion is right.. 🧐 For some reason that team is not playing with enough heart, no pride, no passion.... At least not enough, and as a collective. Especially the offensive line Thats the part they need to figure out..... And also, when Sheduer's in trouble and scrambling, those Wide Recievers need to run back to him to help him out, instead of running away from him and further down the field. The coaches need to address all this ASAP, if they want a healthy qb for the rest of this season.
