I’m glad Niele referenced the Pitt game from earlier in the season-that’s exactly what the game felt like as a fan. Really great first quarter, then the refs blew whistles for seemingly everything, which completely took away our game and allowed a smaller opponent to get back in it. We couldn’t defend physically and we were outrebounded. It did not seem like even whistles, IMO. But a tremendous shoutout to the team for sticking out a frustrating win. And to Maddy and Hannah for finding ways to affect the game even when they weren’t hitting shots. Anna and KK seemed very calm offensively and had some really nice, needed makes. Nat looked great for her second start, and I hope she continues to stay out of foul trouble, because she can be incredibly effective. Here’s hoping the officials for the next game are more favorable for us. Go Irish! ☘️

If Hidalgo plays well, we can make it to the elite 8. but too many injuries and lack of depth will catch up to us. But the future is big time with this program and i can't wait.
