The Argonauts defence did just about everything they could, limiting Roughriders quarterback Shea Patterson to under 200 yards passing, and holding A.J. Ouellette to 3.6 yards-per-carry, but the offence turned the ball over five times and must be held responsible for the loss. Hosts Ben Grant and JB break down the game and look ahead to who should start at quarterback next week for the Argos after Cam Dukes struggled for the second straight outing.

With the F/A losses coupled with Kelly’s suspension and key injuries to the D line- Flo and Ceresna this team is in trouble. Secondary is very suspect…

Edmonton fan great game I watched Shea in college I follow the buckeyes he did good the Argos will be fine especially when Chad returns

Truly enjoyed the interesting diverging quarterback discussion. Think Ben is right about the confidence aspect. Know it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison but Grey Cup champion Cody Fajardo was benched in favour of Mason Fine two years ago and questioned his future. Believe that Cody has credited Jason Maas for having confidence in him. Weren’t two of Duke’s four interceptions catchable?

Tough loss, secondary is sub par , turnovers hurt , too many penalties. Dukes is learning. I like his progression. Go Argooooooooos ❤️🏈

Ben which do you think would be worse? Holding Dukes out of the Montreal game with the foreknowledge that he will be the starter against Hamilton no matter what, or playing Dukes in Montreal and then potentially having to pull him if there are more interceptions? (and then possibly having this same convo prior to the Hamilton game)

I don't think he knew the rule on 2 point conversion when there is a penalty on it ,as he pointed one finger for 1 point conversion after. Which is inexcusable not knowing all the rules

They did have good reason to lose., you can't turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win. Dukes had a few other balls that easily could be picked off! I feel so bad for the receivers who had great seasons last year, because this season isn't looking good at the QB position

He can't roll out like Flutie, Dunnigan and great Holloway .He is back up QB and that's it.
