thank you sir for your explanations just one thing to note: we have to configure our header parameter content_type =application/soap+xml . because if we don't and let the value taken automaticly then an error will be generated (error =The server cannot service the request because the media type is unsupported.). i thank you again for your great explanations .

Great video Raghav! Thank you. 07:28 I noticed that the latest version of Postman (v7.11.0) don't have the text/XML. So, you need to select XML here and update the header section manually as text/XML. Mine got errored out when I selected just XML as the header reflected the change as application/xml. Just posting to help others who might run into the same error.

I'm running Postman v7.28, I'm getting the same error I tried to fix it as you guys @Skeekesh and cdr8556 explain us but without success. I'm gettin 415 error if I write "text/XML" this way uppercase. Or if I write it with lowercase (text/xml) I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error. Help!.

Thanks Raghav for this tutorial ,but I am getting the error while hitting the service can you me out in this. The message with Action '' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to a ContractFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. This may be because of either a contract mismatch (mismatched Actions between sender and receiver) or a binding/security mismatch between the sender and the receiver. Check that sender and receiver have the same contract and the same binding (including security requirements, e.g. Message, Transport, None).

Hi, you will need to add header for content-type and its values should be as per the format of your request, like appllicaiton/json application/soap+xml text/xml

What Header property can be used for continue on error case?. if an element spelling is wrong or a value is wrong in thousand records in SOAP Request. Like in Odata if we add header "Prefer":"odata.continue-on-error". Request will iterate through all records and will give record wise errors

Thanks Raghav for this very useful video. I have 2 question - in request body section, after selecting raw, i can see only following - Text, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, XML. There is no option as text/xml as shown on your screen. issue is fixed by manually adding content-type in header section. What could be reason. I am using latest version. Question 2 - We are querying capital of IN, so method should be GET. why are you using POST? my understanding is POST is used to create data. You can excuse my basic questions , as i am beginner. Hi Lalit, some minor changes in new version, you can try by selecting XML or TEXT, If the header you have added works then it's fine. Que 2 - In case of SOAP we do POST
