The relationship between a preggers mum/one who’s delivered a baby with their Obs/gyn cannot be emphasized enough. Not to shade Male Obs/gyns but there’s simply something about their female counterparts that’s got to do with empathy, relatability and talking about emotions that comes naturally to women, that’s not with men. Plus the most obvious reason Ofcourse: they have a womb just like you the pregnant patient. It’s similar to how I can only be theoretical about a penis (if I was a Dr) and couldn’t fully understand the scope of manhood in this aspect
