thank you for a great lecture ! i had a question : correct me if i'm wrong but i thought we use INR to monitor for use of warfarin , and APTT when we use heparin , am i wrong ?

Thanks for the great presentation as always, Dr Bolin! By the way, why are we monitoring the INR if we're giving heparin to patients with thrombophlebitis? Am I going crazy here? :/

Livvy Liv you use INR to monitor the coagulation level of the blood for adjusting the heparin dose. if less cos clot if more cos bleeding.. etc

mohiuddin alfarra I know what INR is but it is commonly used to monitor warfarin usage. Not heparin.

I hv continuously mild fever after two weeks for 9 days ? Should i concern ? As ob gave me breast infection pills course for week ? But its day 5 still same no change in fever ?
