The truth is is that we're just really passionate about our character. Yes he does big damage off of one move but I'd honestly say that Potemkin players can be some of the wisest players around.

invincible, frame 5, armored, throw invul, overhead DP plus on block, guard crush that gives oki and gives combo on counterhit and movement option, and combo ender, and... (guys keep adding to it so we can freak non pot players out)

@@ojsmallz I think you could probably use it as a shoryuken into super type of cancel, and even on block, you just zoom away from the opponent in the case that you get HPB, and god forbid the WALL mixups.

I could imagine it being used as an alternative to HPB that trades damage for oki with RC. I bet 22PRC could be used with it to bait anti-airs or armored overhead attacks.

I was using Meaty 5K > 2H > Garuda for my oki vs Backdash enjoyers. 5K catches them airborne and late enough to juggle into 2H as a link. If you snipe a jump the hit confirm is a bit hard since you gotta go into 2D instead of 2H since they will be hit while standing.

You know i used to play dbfz, somehow got pretty far in ranked despite being a pretty bad player, and i gotta say seeing a game actually get new content that isn't just a broken character (game is still guilty of this but alas) or giving out more t.o.d.s feels weird to me. I'm very excited for this. Potemkin had tank cannon on his hand, now his a straight up human missile. But let's be real here, it won't be good. Arc Sys is happy where Potemkin is now, below everyone else. I'm still hyped though, just disenchanted I guess.

I want him to have an overdrive where he disables his limiters and becomes overpowered. He can now dash, airdash, and double jump, his punches now emit short-range shockwaves (punches only, not punch attacks like 5P, 6P, and 2P), hammerfall is now special cancellable, and attacks deal much more damage. Overall he gains more mobility, cancel specials into other specials, and his attacks are much more faster. This state only lasts 10 seconds before potemkin re-enables them.

For 10 seconds, Pot will become AC+ Pot!!!! Vacuum 2S, Unblockable Slidehead WITH juggle Hard Knockdown that can be converted into 5K combo starter, 6K became 18F overhead that could be gattling into 2S, Air Pot Bustour with armor. 2S>Hammerfall Break is 0 on block.

Oki is a situation. Basically, when you're subject to hard knockdown, you have a limited amount of options for get up. DP Grab Block Super Parry depending on the character While your options are limited, your opponents aren't. Its basically a rock, paper scissors, but the person with the disadvantage can't pick rock.

It should be great to have a move to make after a Counter from 5HS if we don't have meter to HammerFall into Giganter Kai. I really believe it will help for some combo situations + giving oki. And it's another move against people trying to jump over our Giganter Kai's screen (depending on distance and ressources, we can't always do the other ones). If the move hits before getting hit, maybe it could even help against Asuka's projectiles which are ignoring Super Armor.

They already nerfed MegaFist, and this new moves helps in this regard. It can still happen, but it is unlikely.

Well, the difference is that Pot is a character with bad characteristics, but that's compensated for using his moveset. Whereas May was a character with great characteristics and great moves. And she still is. She's just harder to use now, which I think is fine.
