You may not have meant it this way, but saying she’s beautiful “for” [an older person] implies that according to other (re: higher, conventional) standards, she’s not actually beautiful but by a lower standard (in this case, an older age) she is considered beautiful.

Agree. I've had lots of dogs, and GOOD dogs, but until I adopted my pittie at the age of 59, I had no clue how amazing pitties are!!! She was my soul/heart dog. I lot her about 5 months ago & I still can't handle it.

I have adopted 3 rescued Rottweilers in my life time. Loved them. People must have an animal buddy in their house. It is good for you, the kids and later the grandkids. Pople that do not love animals have no soul.

Kiesha and Ginny how quickly they just bonded and were made for each other and i loved it when Kiesha ran around the back garden and then when Kiesha needed a break she always went to Ginny for a rub of her belly and then back again running around the garden again and i had tears in my have to say and i wish Ginny and Kiesha all the best for the future and i am so glad Kiesha found her forever home.

I can’t imagine my life without my dog. My husband and I have had dogs ever since almost 30 years now. The only problem is we’re now in our early 70s and not sure if we’d be able to deal with having a new dog when ours passes away because my husband has COPD but you never know
