I have a huge hard shell carrier, with good pull handle, rescue remedy & thunder shirts, sweaters name it... double (split down the middle for two Cats) with good wheels & a compartment top & emergency bag for them, a fire tarp in a bag to cover the carrier! & myself a few things in the bag... now next to my door. I don't drive. I have the ocean in front, three large bushy, hills on other sides. Wouldn't wait for help! Would go straight to the beach! If the electric goes out, because my electric company shuts down because power poles cause fires, I have USB rechargeable lights & a 1500 yeti lithium back up battery and solar panels. For a 74 year old single female , I think I did good!
