"His Hero" is my favorite from this season. It does a good job testing Finn's heroism, and how it teaches kids that sometimes it's okay to stand up and fight back.

@@SilverScribe85 Well the first time she said, "Ich bin hier", it meant "I am here". The second time she yelled "Ich bin zu glücklich. Ich Kant....Ich Kant", it meant "I am so happy. I can't.....I can't" and then just passed out.

@@smileyhappyface5864 As a One Piece enjoyer and watcher who was caught up on manga and anime, I think there are many things that are similar in the Adventure Time and One Piece world like the Finn/Jake and Luffy/Zoro dynamic.

I think you have a good take on season one, but there are some good nuggets in this season that are picked up later for an expanded lore. And so glad you spotted the snail again!

Just like in the knife storm episode it is explained Jake's power is imagination and it becoming reality, he imagined himself to be the gut grinder because that's what he was led to believe and so that's why he became the gut grinder. Jake is OP but he also doesn't know how to focus or harness his power or know it's full extent or he just doesn't care to know

Original script of the Lich King. The Lich King embodies absolute evil. He doesn't give long monologues about how he's going to rule the world, or waste time by sending out evil henchmen. When he wants something destroyed, he just raises a legion of undead knights, marches in, and obliterates everything in his path. Dealing with the Lich King is serious and dangerous business. It requires exceptional strength and strategy, and knowing Finn and Jake, they'll probably just run up to him screaming battle cries. Luckily, the Lich King was magically sealed away in his castle long ago. Still though, he's a powerful and dangerous force that's waiting patiently for someone curious enough to enter his domain and accidentally unlock his magical chains.

So, the song about Billy which happenedin "His Hero" is one you need to take note of and remember. I mean, an Evil Fire King who kidnaps princesses being someone that Billy fought does remind me of Finn's fights with the Ice King.

Actually in a lot of ways Finn's character is tested in these few finale episodes. In ep24 we see that Finn is almost afraid to be wrong, afraid to be unheroic. This is a challenge he faced back in ep5, where he refused to slay the ant just because he needed to do so. Back then he conquered the challenge. Now everything points to there being a need to hold Ice King. But Finn's fear of being not righteous takes over. It is almost the same situation as with the ant but the result is opposite. Finn's way of making the Ice King cry is also, ironically, much more cruel then just beating him up. And in ep25 Finn has to defend his nature against outside pressure from his hero - Billy. And I think that's abt more then just Billy being Finn's idol, it's abt seeking approval. Also, nice observations abt everything! Billy definitely paralels Finn, so I don't think such things as Evil Ocean or that Fire dude should be analysed too hard. It's interesting the Lich caught ur eye though. Also, I should warn u! It is very important that in s2 episodes should go in this order: ep24 - Heat Signature ep25 - Mortal Folly ep26 - Mortal Recoil Some sites have it messed up because of an error during the episodes' premiere.

I believe the last 2 episodes are out of order, and the Billy episode is suppose to be the season finale.

somehow I always forget s1 ends with such banger episodes (well 23 to 25 I'm not that big of a fan of the gut grinder tbh, especially compared the to three before) also hell yeah, Billy !
