My thoughts on the possibility of Capcom remaking the early NES Mega Man trilogy (MM1-3) are pretty similar to what you said in this video : They do deserve a remake because of the rough nature of their initial release and prior remakes of them unfortunately not being worthy of being considered "the definitive version of a same game". _Also I'm surprised about me getting recognition here for spreading the news on Discord XD_

Megaman legends 1 and 2 remake with modern controls (even if you change nothing else) and the long lost legends 3 would make me... Moist.

If we're talking about some Storytelling, some Megaman 3 Romhacks to show Dr. Light and Dr. Wily working together to Create Gamma, and for cutscene, well, as i saw it in the Cutting Room Floor, the Wily Saucer was supposed to fly up away from the City to the Sky with the Moon, which was unused.

MegaMan needs new games, not new remakes. I said as much in my own answer for the survey. What I chose for that specific question was Breath of Fire 1-3 since it's been too long since the last BoF game and these three just feel the most connected with each other (1 and 2 obviously so and 3 having cameos).

Okay real talk. We need X9. The main series has been milked so much yet we have go get yet another remake or another Megaman 12. It has to move forward!! The X series needs to continue the story.

Remakes for the first 3 MM games can breath life into the series. To make a remake better than Powered up can really help the series.

Should enough fans pick to remake the first 3 MM games, I it would help CAPCOM sell MM remake by folding in the in-between games from the Gameboy games era, rewrite the story so it includes the Gameboy games events and expands on Wily's where about and have some animated scenes in anime style like MM 8 but either no or optional hilarious voice acting.

I think they should remake powered up with better graphics, better voice acting and maybe even include an option to slide in the options menu. and then just remake 2 and 3 with that as a base!

We should have specified to not go crazy with the reimagining. Mega Man classic designs are just fine as is! They can ball a little with steps like Fully Charged but I think its better to have Mega Man be satisfied first before we get crazy stuff

We already had a pretty good remake, "Wily's Wars" was really good but a little bit dark, for me if i ever wanted a remake of the original trilogy, I'd like it with the style of MM7 or 8 especially 8 because of the animation. Even the cutscenes were really good and funny.

I chose "Too slow to release new numbered titles". It has been TWENTY YEARS since Capcom released Mega Man X8 for the PlayStation 2 in 2004! Sorry to disagree with you, but I've had enough of the remakes and collection re-releases while the new titles like Mega Man Universe, Legends 3, X9, and "ZXC" ended up getting teased to fans and then cancelled. X8 and Legends 2 ended on VERY BIG cliffhangers (and ZX Advent ended on a small one that you couldn't really see unless you clear it on Hard Mode) that have still not been resolved to this day. I was glad to get Mega Man 9, 10, and eventually 11. However, I'm 45 now, and not getting any younger! I've been a fan of Mega Man since the first three games came out for Nintendo in my childhood. I'd like to see resolution to at least SOME of these cliffhangers BEFORE I turn 75!

X6 needs a remake hope to see x9 then they could use white axl as his maverick design since he was infected with the i guess lumine virus but keep the same voice actors

I think the only needs remakes is the Legends series, for other Mega Man games there is not much difference between remake and new game.

The only remakes I’m more interested in in Megaman are the first three X games. I’m aware of Maverick Hunter X though. I’m much more interested in X9 though.

Powered Up and Wily Wars already exist yet casual ppl wouldn't know they exist or even care enough to go out of their way to play them, especially since the former is hard to come by nowadays and the latter needs premium Switch Online. The remakes could be a good way to introduce new ppl into the franchise with the games that started it all, which would hopefully be better overall in terms of updated gameplay and graphics but also a fleshed out story to tell Mega Man's history and origin. They also need to take notes from Powered Up as that game is the GOAT of the Classic series in terms of content such as: level maker, costumes, playing as different characters like the Robot Masters and even the dialogue before a fight. That being said tho, I hope they don't take the Resident Evil route and just hash out remakes instead of developing newer titles, cause X9 or Legends 3 would still be good, but this route could be a stepping stone to that point so those games could garner more popularity and boost the franchise overall.

Some 20 years ago there was supposed to he colorized versions of the Game Boy games. The build files were "lost" and that never officially happened.

what if its more than Remakes of the first 3, but a Rougelike that Mix & Matches things from the first three titles, like there'll be Eight Robot master stages & 5 Wily Stages, the Robot master's Weakness chain will be Altered a bit, having a weakness chain that loops forward & backward, as well as a Rare Meta-Chain, which is named after & is just the Metal Blade weakness applied to every robot master but with any other boss weapon. also there'll still be the stages and all in Grade Runs, where Grade 1 is Megaman, Grade 2 is Megaman 2 & Grade 3 is Megaman 3. Completing them will Unlock The Wily Wars, just like how Zero Mission unlocked the Original Metroid.

If we do get 1-2-3 remakes I’d like to play them with the modern mechanics like Sliding and Charging, also make not just Protoman playable but also Bass with his multi-directional shooting and double jump and maybe Roll with a Broom for an attack so we can have a Zero-like character where you have to get up close to attack.

make suggestion that they make both a 2D and 3D remake of each + additional contents//secrets added in...idk about changing boss mechanics but i think they could use some new attacks///be made more fluid than use to be...maybe even some difficulties settings too...."Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme, No Mercy"....easy same attacks as on normal but bigger interval between attacks....Hard(new mechanics), extreme(additional new mechanics, extra missiles, move faster)......No Mercy(weather effects to deal with(slippery(deal with it), t-bolts(move out and dodge), lava rising(climb wall or hang on ceiling), water wave(climb walls and dash over(also heal bosses))) + invert controls for 2-5 sec//reverse gravity

ive been seeing megman toys licensed in 2023 and also the model kits in stores. If theres new megaman figures ecttt. in real life stores it makes me think somethings coming

I did that a while back. I am a Mega Man fan but I asked for Mega Man Legends 3 so we can hopefully get a conclusion to his story and a return of some favorite characters.

To be honest, if any Mega Man game needs a remake, it's Legends. It has not aged well at all.

I mean, I like the games as-is, so a remake wouldn't make the games any "better" in my eyes. But I also understand that certain things about them are...imperfect. 1 doesn't have a way to save, and 3 has a LOT of bugs. I wouldn't mind those getting fixed at least. Actually it might be kind of neat if they used the graphics and cutscene style of Mega Man 11. But ultimately, I'd prefer a Mega Man 12 to a remake of the first three games.

I think Battle Network 1 needs a remake because Mega Man 1-3 remakes doesn’t feel good and a massive step backwards; we already have Mega Man 1-3 on many different platforms so I think BN series should go back to shine with BN1 Remake and also the first entry in the series didn’t aged well.

It's really pretty much useless, especially for the MM1 part. If anything they should remake X5 to X7 if not finally covering the plot holes with needed continuations. It's been obvious for a very long time that Crapcom only has the guts to milk the old games for useless lazy collections, especially the classic series. Their marketing strategy towards Megaman has been awful since the 2000s if not the late 90s. Personally, I'm not voting for this useless idea out of desperation for new official Megaman content

How TF are they listening when they are simply remaking now instead of porting for the 18th time? Remaking what you ported 18 times already isn't making a new game its doing the next closest thing to porting because you don't need half the team or work the concepts are already made for the entire thing except a few graphic polishes and who TF cares about that at this point? So glad I sold the majority of my MegaMan stuff because I knew the fan base was pretty much all special education "Yes" only factors never a thought outside of those 3 letters. Scamcon could **** on you and you'd only ask for more.

Capcom, once again, literally doing the bare minimum asked of them. And barely that. This is why I've put 300+ hours into 30XX in the last month. I'm done waiting around for Capcom to actually give us what we want.

Only Legends really needs a remake for a modern crowd so it can get more love. Megaman 1-3 remakes feels pointless and a massive step backwards; we already have so many collections and revisits of classics as it is, it’s not necessary and it sounds boring. Make sequels, it’s what most fans want.
