I'm not sure why people are complaining about getting a bigger and better Hyrule with a brand new story and mechanics. This game is going to be huge. I still find new stuff in BOTW after years of playing it. Also it would be cool if they added modified blood moons in the game to do different things to the enemies besides just resurrecting them. Adding seasons would also be a nice touch.

@James Kimes It.. IS botw 2. That's what a sequel is. Are we talking about the same game here? Either way, it won't be empty anymore. It will be far bigger than any Nintendo game in history judging by the file size and art book alone.

Zeltic made a really good point in one of his videos. In OoT, waking up as adult Link was, in part, so impactful because it WAS the same world, but completely changed. All of these locations that were safe and happy as a child became horrifying and dark in the adult world. Even if we ignore all of the new areas Nintendo is adding, just revisiting the Hyrule we know so well and seeing all the changes will be an emotional experience. Add to that all of the new areas, new enemies, new story, and the entirely new gameplay mechanics, this game will make allot of people VERY happy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it's important to remember that some people will REFUSE to admit that it's a good game (even if they secretly bought and love it), because it's become almost an identity online. The "it's just DLC" persona. I understand, there WILL be some people who are honestly displeased by it. Heck, there were other who hated BoTW. For those of us who are excited, however, let's just try to ignore the "vocal minority", sit back, and enjoy the game we've been waiting for!
@hatti...
@hatti... Жыл бұрын
@Hylian Likely Exactly my thoughts. Zeltik's point about TotK being our new "adult timeline" is great because just like the child section of OoT, in BotW we were just getting started and there's a LOT of ways things could be seriously ramped up. I also agree with you that the "it's just DLC" crowd is almost entirely based upon nothing but stubbornness and baseless hatred from some kind of immature drive to be different or wanting attention. You can dislike the game, but with the slightest bit of logical thinking you cannot possibly believe that this is remotely comparable to a DLC expansion.

With the idea of the malice holes in the ground being potential entrances to an underground sections, it's possible the malice on top of death mountain has a similar purpose. The malice holes and the top of death mountain look similar so maybe it could lead to a dungeon or some interesting location hidden in death mountain.

here's a few thing I'd love to see in the game. 1. The Barbarian Set. To be more specific the possibility that it might get upgraded even further in tears of the kingdom 2. The gaint skeletons. It's a possibility that they might become gaint malice skeleton like boss monsters that we have to fight 3. the garudo desert. to be more specific the possible return of the Moldarach who might be a regular enemy/boss. Maybe also a return of the deku baba but who knows... 4. zelda herself. as in possibly playing as her. 5. Scaldera. It is possible that it might return. 6. Gaint octoroc bosses. Love battling in ocean areas and it'll be a dream come true for me. 7. any spider enemies/bosses in the underground sections. they scared the living hell out of me but I cant wait to see them again.

I’ll be disappointed if they don’t go into Ganondorfs relationship with both groups. Some of the Gerudo must know of the king. I’m also curious if a new Yiga Clan leader will rise up in this game 🧐 Maybe we’ll see them working directly for Ganondorf. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

I don’t think that the deku tree is truly gone. There’s a pillar in the sky of floating blocks that goes way higher than any of the other islands and we have yet to see what’s at the top of it. It also appears as though it’s directly above the lost woods. I bet there’s roots connecting all those floating blocks and at the very top we might find the deku tree

I wouldn't count on the slate being completely gone, the ability to target things with the sensor for one thing was an extremely important feature for finding ingredients/items for fetch quests. Right off the top of my mind is the man who asks you to collect 55 rushshrooms, that quest would be maddening without the sensor especially early after launch before all the map placements are published. Finding items is such an integral part of BOTW I couldn't imagine playing it without the sensor apparently the devs thought so as well.

I’m still not sure if the labyrinths actually are floating. The labyrinths themselves may be made entirely out of zonai structures but it’s very likely they weren’t actually built by them. The patterns on the stone are identical to other known zonai patters except for the fact that they’ve all been misplaced. Certain symbols are upside down while brick patterns that moved vertically are now horizontal. I can’t remember who’s video went into this but it was concluded that the labyrinths may once have been zonai mazes or even something else but the Sheikah most definitely repurposed whatever it was that they once were into the mazes as we see them in botw as trials for link

I have a theory of my own about Hyrule in TotK. Seems to me like the seasons have changed, Barring time travel (which I think is highly unlikely to be in the game) there seems to be no snow in most of the shots of the Great Plateau. I think that BotW took place around winter, but TotK takes place around summer. Additionally, we can consider that there appear to be new lakes on the map. Perhaps these are seasonal melt water ponds rather than actual lakes.

It's fascinating to me how BotW's stubborn and repetitive content formula has convinced people that there will be 1:1 replacements for towers and Korok Seeds, and that the final dungeon must absolutely be Hyrule Castle once again.
@LazyGardenGamer
@LazyGardenGamer Жыл бұрын
I don't think that Hyrule Castle MUST be the final dungeon, but the way that they've shown it in game so far certainly suggests that. I would love for it to be somewhere else, I just can't make any educated guesses as to where we would end the game! I do agree on the Korok Seeds and Towers. I personally think that these towers are actually controlled by evil forces, and I really hope that there are zero Korok Seeds in this game. I do still want a good collectible though

I have a feeling that the Hebra Mountains were the last region to be finished in Breath of the Wild, given that the whole region is so barren outside of hunting Shrines and Korok seeds. Most of the mountaintops have very few polygons, making it clear that they were rushed to completion.

It's also possible that we're wrong about the labyrinths lifting up into the sky. Someone pointed out that in one of those shits it appears one of the labyrinths is both on the ground and in the sky. Or more likely, all the labyrinths have a sky component.

@@lococomrade3488 if you haven't played, that's cool, but I implore you to check out a video Commonwealth Realm made, stitching together all of the cutscenes. Pretty sure he called it the Age of Calamity movie or something like that. Super cool story in that game, and the voice acting was far better than in BotW. Hope you watch and enjoy
