What a season this was ..5 local derbies, champions , when football was good and tackles were flying in!!

This is a treat isn't it. Not enough Potteries derbies footage anywhere on the net and this game is a bonus. Am not a fan of either team but I enjoy so many british derbies since the 80s through to the present day be it covered by BBC and itv. Really pleased u have posted this game up. Regards.

Loads of us Stoke went in the Lorne Street this night (as the away end was sold out) Was a great night 😀

I was in that paddock and got a tap on the shoulder followed by the question "You Stoke?" My reply "Yes" was followed by at least 50 more Stoke fans joining me. The mental when we scored first was bonkers

The stand behind the goal where Gleghorn scored seemed to be all Stoke fans on the night as like others couldn't get a Stoke ticket.

Sad to see this and hear that roar. Vale park only has a safety for 11,000 at the moment. Huge gaps even on a sell out. Shame as the Vale faithful deserve better

I can remember a stoke player belting the ball at an open vale goal only for it to get stuck in the mud just inches from the goal line at vale park.. can't remember the stoke platers name... Might have been George berry
