I love pottery barn teen backpacks! I’ve used the same one for three years now! They hold up so much better than Jan sport and a lot of other really good brands

Thank for your review. I almost bought the small for my third grader. Luckily I decided to check out the reviews before I did.

My son had the small size fairfax one for pre k. It fit him perfect but we are in buffalo and fitting his sneakers in it plus a folder sometimes a hoodie and on fridays they needed snow clothes to play outside in it was a big struggle. Plus his folder everything would be bent because he would shove it in instead of fitting it in nicely lol. I got him the large for kindergarten just so I didn't have to worry about it.

I baught my son the rocket backpack and lunchbox from pottery barn and I am pleased, plus I really think they r good quality.

I cannot decide whether to get the mini or the small for a 2 year old boy when going to the babysitters... it would need to fit diapers and snacks and a change of clothes. Which one would you recommend for that? The mini or the small?

Hi I love this review. Have you tried their water bottles at all? I seen reviews about mold growing on the lid insert and that they don't have replacement parts for it. We need a good water bottle for our rough with everything boys lol. It's a plus if it's easy to clean and doesn't leak.

Does the reflective piping for the Fairfax backpack hold up? I see a bit of peels ... bought the Fairfax in small and the reflective piping started peeling in just a month... it’s a real pity
