Heyo Friends,
Today's video is another KILN OPENING!
I have a little of everything in this load: BERRY BOWLS, Mugs, WINE CUPS, Ornaments, JEWELLERY PIECES, etc...
It's a Slow Cool Program with top temperature at 2195 degrees Fahrenheit held for 10 minutes and then held at 1900 degrees fahrenheit for 30 minutes!🥳

Oh wow so so many pretties 🤩 I love them all 😍 love the different glaze combos too - we have just gotten a puppy so I am not getting a lot of making or glazing time - hopefully tomorrow I will bribe one of the kids to watch her for a bit so that I can glaze enough to fill the kiln 😊

I just ordered a light box which is going to allow me to take photos of my product any time of day. Anyway, I will put the fishy dish up in my shop. There is no pressure to purchase. Hey my drippy sista!! Oh all those ornaments r so cute but the fishy plate is super cute!! The honey flux on the speckle mugs might distort yr decals too. Wow that pedestal bowl is gorgeous I love the burst look inside where they meet! Jg often craze at higher temp. Either swap it to bottom of mug so food safe doesn’t matter or what I do is bisque then glaze fire with glazes then add the jungle gems wherever you want them then put back thru bisque. Your glaze won’t move at lower temp n jg less likely to craze. Hope that makes sense?!? Lovely unload xx

My goodness what a nice surprise this morning having my coffee!!! Very Nice kiln Load!!!! Thank you for sharing !!!! I use jungle Jems a lot. I also have same kiln and do the same firing program. with the jungle gems I do 2 coat jungle jems with 1 generous coat of Amaco Zinc free clear over the top. it will run. try it on a little trinket dish first. hope this helps Thank you again Your work really shows you put a lot of effort into what you create. Again Very Nice Kiln load and video!

Lovely pieces there Audrey! ❤ I still haven’t ordered the new spectrum glazes but I will, I love the blue cup combo.😊 Also this is just my opinion, the crazing is ok if it’s only on the outside, a lot of the jungle gems will craze when fired at mid range. I actually like the crazing and crackling of some glazes😅

Hi Audrey Everything was beautiful I will be looking forward to seeing the fishy dish and pedestal bowl. I was curious about the jewelry pieces How will you attach hardware to those pieces? Also did you fire them directly on the kiln shelf or did you stilt the? Thanks again for sharing all of your work Have a great weekend Michelle

Hi Michelle, I painted the back of the jewelry piece with speckled engobe. I set them on a little cookie when I fired them. I will use E6000 to glue the hardware pieces on to the jewelry. Thanks for your comments. 🙂

Thanks so much! The ornaments in this kiln unload are cookie cutters from various sources,...so...Amazon, Etsy, Temu....etc.

Hello, fellow local potter. I buy my Mayco from Sounding Stone. I hear thta North Vancouver Pottery carries Mayco and Clay Warehouse carries SOME Mayco. I find it convenient getting it from SS.
