Slightly yes, though I'm not 100% sure how well it'll keep the boat a float with the whole hull full, but the added buoyancy will also allow me to have more weight in the boat

​@@MagootusThe stuff is awesome and has three main benefits. 1. It greatly reduces the sound from the hull while riding through the water and hitting waves 2. If properly and thoroughly poured, it helps to keep water away from stringers and the bottom of your floor. 3. Its a cheap insurance policy to keep you from sinking. I hit a stump in the swamp in my 15ft fiberglass boat. It hit hard enough that it put a hole about the size of a golf ball in the bottom. The foam allowed very little water to get in. I'm also almost 100% confident it wouldn't sink if the boat did fill with water

@michaelh7527 damn that's impressive, I knew it was tough and water resistant but wasn't sure how resistant it was. Glad to hear that it is this good

@@MagootusFoam will not increase buoyancy. It only displaces water if you hull gets swamped. Pour foam has a certain buoyancy per square foot. The amount of foam needed to float the hull if swamped, must exceed the hull weight plus engine.
